After reflecting for a while

Only now have I realized how much I had to learn from the people in my life. I now have to learn how to express my gratitude to those who have taught me important lessons and supported me in many ways. Not just my parents and my grandparents, whose role is rather obvious, but also the other unrelated people in my life. I should start with an old friend, Diana, with whom I have had so many great moments. The end of our friendship taught me that everything is ephemeral and that one should treasure the happy moments, since they don’t last forever, vanishing only to make room to new experiences. Then, my knight in shining armor, Irina, taught me how to deal with people, which made easier for my former classmates to put up with the annoying me – and for that I’m grateful to them too. I thank all those who showed me the wonderful world of anime and manga – and those who didn’t run away when I started blabbering obsessively about it for hours. Also, I have to thank mom, Irina and Roxy for coming with me to NIjiCon, which allowed me to learn about new things. Then my classmates taught me what it means to be a group and the wonders of solidarity – apparently a tight group could achieve more than one whose members are torn up with rivalries and fights. And, of course, the people without whom I would still have dismissed the concept of “friendship” as useless and fake: Ioana, who taught me that friends are together to have fun and that gossiping is great, Alex, who taught me that friends help one another and also that anyone has his/hers dark sides, Simona, who taught me that friends are the people who know each other’s deepest, most shameful thoughts and also I owe her for teaching me to always be myself, to admit the real me, with all the weird and normal parts that come from this – and also for letting me learn some drawing tricks from her, Roxy, for teaching me that you never know who’s three doors away and also Irina, for being a reliable friend and a good role model for a long time, and my two online friends, Kaori, for being the best forum administrator I’ve ever known and for teaching me something about this and Kuro, for making me stop being scared of the darkness, and always cheering me up. My love to you all.
