We sit in the park by a big, gorgeous tree.
I am a thousand miles away from where I reside,
yet I am at home here.
We smoke.
We talk.
We laugh.
I feel at one with these people.

I look at Ame.
She is beautiful to the core.
I can feel her - she is part of me.
I can feel her depth.
I can feel the universe inside her.
She fills me.

I feel like I was supposed to be here, in this place, with these people, by this uncomplicated tree.
The tree reaches out to me.
I say hello.
It sees right into me.
I fall in love.

I look at Kyle.
He is full of mystery and beauty.
I can feel his energy.
I can feel the calm of a thousand oceans in his soul.
I can feel his wisdom.
He looks into my eyes and fills me with beautiful things I can't begin to comprehend.

This is my life.
It is not the first.
It is magnificent.
It is pure.
It is raw.

I'm beginning to understand my place in this world.
