Chapter 2
Cat from Hell
Life in the city bored this young man.He has nothing to do except walk the streets everyday,for his father left him in this realm,and his mother died when he was still a young age.This man's name,was Zodishya,a young cat demon who chooses to take a human-like form.Although normal people see him as a human,a select few see him with cat ears and a tail.He is one of the few pure-hearted demons so other demons look down upon him.
"Where to go today..."He said as he stood in front of his home.He wore a coat(much like a sweater) and jeans all the time.His shoes were black and his face was expressionless.He had jet-black hair and his eyes were pure white.He liked tricking mortals into thinking he was dead on the road while in his cat form.
He looked around the city,he saw a young boy in a black high school uniform rushing someplace but he payed no mind to the kid."Man im gonna be late!"The boy shouted as he ran past Zodishya.Zodishya smiled and then looked at the top of a tall building.A perfect prank to pull on the mortals,but not now,tomorrow,or maybe even later that day."Such a great day this has turned out to be..."
A few hours later,after the school had gotten out,he started walking towards the building.In front of it,he saw the boy from earlier."Him again..."The boy suddenly turned left and ran that way after looking at the building for a few minutes."Man dad's gonna kill me!!!"The boy left with those words trailing behind him.
Zodishya walked up to a young man in the street and tapped his shoulder."What do you want?"The man said."I bet i can jump off the top of the building and land on somebody,thus breaking my fall and i would live."Zodishya was bluffing,he didn't think somebody was going to be dumb enough to walk under him while he was falling."You kidding?I think your going to die if you fall that high and miss!Your on!"The male was foolishly subjected into a losing bet no matter what.But Zodishya liked to trick those around him at times like this.
The boy climbed to the top of structure,looked down,and smiled.He jumped down without hesitation and fell.Down,down,down,further and further,he kept the same smile on his face throughout the entire time.Just then,he heard people shouting something."GET OUT OF THE WAY!"Were the words,he looked down and noticed somebody was dumb enough to walk under him while falling.
The boy pushed his girlfriend out of the way and then looked up right as Zodishya was going to land on him.
"My head..."Said Ven after waking up in a strange house.Where was he?"Dont worry about your little head there fox boy,your going to be fine."Said a strange man who had just walked in the door.Ven recognized the figure,it was the person who landed on him."Wait...YOU!Why the hell were you trying to commit suicide!"He shouted before getting a closer look at the man.Ven noticed he had cat ears and a tail,so...was this man a half demon?
"Ven,be grateful,people thought you were dead,so i took your "dead" body to the "hospital"."The man said."My name is Zodishya,your girlfriend there has told me alot about you.So your father died protecting you,and your on a search to kill the man that killed your father,right?"Zodishya,odd name.But Ven wasn't going to question it."Yea,i am...""Sounds interesting,im going to tag along whether you like it or not,oh,she said you have trouble of holding up that sword of yours,so i took the liberty of giving you an early birthday gift."
He pointed to a small sword next to the bed.Ven took hold of it,and noticed how light it was at first."Ven,be grateful,this man is actually helping us out,and i thought he would just let us stay here for a few nights and then make us leave."Erika said as she walked into the room."Thanks Zodishya,once i feel good and ready,we are gonna start our quest!"
