Mission/History: Before the age of Senshi, before the Silver Millenium, Earth's Emperor had divided the Earth into four quarters (aside fromm Elysion), with a priestess and her guard residing over each quarter, providing protection, answering to the Earth's Empress and led by her daughter and her guard, who traveled through all four quarters depending on the season rather than staying in Elysion. Eventually, the priestesses star seeds grew in power, eventually making the succession of priestesses a succession of Senshi, though no one realized this. Even before the Negaverse came, no one had quite realized what the four priestesses and princess had become, except for the Coronian advisor they had recently gained. And when the Silver Millenium fell...Queen Serenity's wish included the priestesses, the princess (a distant cousin of Endymion's adopted into the direct family), and their guards.
The Eastern Priestess was reborn as Rie Kouki, the first generation in the Japanese Kouki family to be born on United States soil in a small town called 'Haven' on the Northwest coast. She had a fairly 'average' childhood...but she always seemed tied to the seasons, being the most active and focused during spring, and had a reverence for nature. She's always been a fairly eco-conscious girl, and joined her high school's environmental club. That's where she met the other reborn Priestesses and half the guards. Of course...they didn't know that at first. It wasn't until an albino crow found Rie that she learned what she was...
You see, the crow, Sanzuwu, was the advisor to the Priestesses and their guards, the one that had realized who they had become. And she awakened Rie as Sailor Qinglong, Senshi of the Eastern Dragon, Herald of Spring and Warrior of Wood. The other priestesses followed, one by one, as did the guards, save three who were missing.
Now, their duty and mission is to find their princess, Chromia, and the missing three guards, and to discover the source of the strange monsters that keep appearing!
