Writings of Rahna (it's so LAME...)
It's an online diary!! Except it's not private! Kinda defeats the purpose of having one...oh well!
Updaaaaaate~!!
Oh yes, I'm on a roll.

Mmkay, so I did a TON of stuff yesterday. I used Gamespot to get me past the ice puzzle (it was fun, I wasn't even looking at the TV screen while doing it), then unlocked the door to Celcius' chamber. If there was a memory circle there, we saved. There should've been...but I can't recall seeing one. gonk Short-term memory loss is striking early!

Okay, so Ms. Icy Airhead engaged us in battle along with her pet dog of doom. Fenrir ended up outlasting Celcius actually. xD I was more worried about the Summon Spirit so we took her out first. (It was pretty shocking when she fell down and didn't get back up. I expected it to be harder than that.) We knocked Fluffy back a last time and finished the fight in...a minute and 16 seconds I think. Much easier than Gnome. (I didn't even get the chance to use Efreet.) Sheena and Genis kept dying on me, but Lloyd and Raine kept the Life Bottles and Resurrections coming.

Right, time for an interesting cutscene! Efreet appeared in all his scary glory to get snapped at by Celcius. (They totally had something goin' on.) They bickered, we watched with amusement. The great flaming bat-thing disappeared, Celcius turned herself into a ring for us, and we'd barely moved a step when the next earthquake struck. Presea remarked the the time between making pacts and the resulting quakes was shortening...drastically. We'd just barely made it out of the ice cavern when a large part of the sky turned gray and a massive bolt of lightning struck Ozette. Presea was worried (understandably) so we booked it to the quiescent village.

Or...what used to be Ozette. The little town was in flames, the forest on which it was built was crumbling, and a blond-haired boy lay amid the wreckage. Genis and Colette were persistent in alerting Lloyd to this. The group ran to where the kid lay and attempted to rouse him. Someone must have half-dragged him to Presea's house before the walkway succumbed. He told us there that his name was Mithos and that he'd lived on the outskirts of the village, that which the angels had destroyed. Mithos was ousted out as a half-elf right then and there. Naturally, he panicked. Genis and Raine calmed and convinced him that our particular group wasn't prejudiced, and then Altessa showed up. The poor dwarf was convinced that the village had been destroyed because of him you see. Tabatha followed him back and, after some consideration, we decided to go along as well.

Umm...let's see. We got to Altessa's house a little bit later (I flew all around the world map trying to find it cause I'm STOOPID) and he met us in front. Altessa told us Yggdrasil had destroyed the village as a punishment for the dwarf hiding away all those years.

-rubs her temples- I apologize, I can't remember what all he said. I (and I can't believe I'm saying this) need to look it up. I just played it 2 days ago and I need to look it up...

Until I get the details back, be content with this. We followed the bearded man inside, learned a load more about Cruxis, and the dwarf invited us to stay the night. We gratefully accepted, only to wake up and find out Raine had left in the wee hours of the morning. Wracked with worry, all of us (Mithos included) set off to find her. Tabatha had said she'd seen a Rheaird flying south, in the direction of Altamira. And off we went~

Regal, again, asked to stay behind. So we wandered in, looking about the resort city for the second time. (Their hotel is something to be in awe of.) Somehow I meandered my way up a lone path where an old man was standing respectfully towards what looked like a gravestone. (Which really doesn't make sense...it wasn't there during the flashback and Alicia's grave is on the sky terrace.) ANYWAY, the man turned around and saw us. He saw Presea and gasped, thinking it was Alicia. Then he realized his mistake. Alicia had passed away several years ago.

Another hit for the resident pinkette. Presea haltingly asked where Alicia's grave might be, because Alicia had been her sister. Her younger sister, mind you.The man gave us his company ID and told us the grave was on the sky terrace. The card in hand, we rode the transport to the Lezareno company headquarters.

-checks clock- I'm running off time. I'm sorry, I have to cut it again.

-comes back, scratching her head sheepishly- I forget I have people who actually enjoy these. Sorry Sky!!

Right, so where were we... It's been a while since this happened, so I'm likely to miss some stuff.

NOW, we got into the company building as usual (because yes, I went nosing about beforehand) and got to the company elevator. The man their tried stopping us, then Lloyd flashed George's ID.

The company president?! Oh noes! xD Our heartfelt apologies sir, go right in.

So we did. I was impatient to see the upcoming cutscene and thus did not waste any time exploring the other floors. We got the sky terrace (it's a lovely place) and Alicial appeared. It had to have been strange for Presea. After all, she last saw her sister as an elementary age kid. And now...she must've been working at the Bryant estate for almost 10 years to be as old as she was.

Presea asked her sister how this had come to be and Alicia told us her Master had done it. And could we please please find Master Bryant and bring him to her?

That was all the poor maid had time for, as she disappeared shortly thereafter. Presea (who was nearly made with grief at this point) asked Lloyd to help her find Alicia's killer. He clenched a fist and said "Yeah, we'll beat him to a pulp and drag him back here!"

...OH NOES!!! I don't remember how they got Regal in there!! gonk Did we leave and go somewhere? Or what? -frets-

-googles- Oh &%@$. I messed up. Oh dang...

Okay, okay...this is going to be out of order. Probably -frets- But here goes.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't until AFTER we got back to Tethe'alla that everything went down between Regal and Vharley. So, we had the touching scene between sisters and then booked it to continue searching for Raine. I don't know who gave us the hint to look for the Otherwordly Gate (besides me already knowing where to go) but that's where we were headed.

I flew, again, ALL OVER THE MAP. -foams at the mouth- I hate my wretched sense of direction! And the island, why must it be so tiny and hard to see...?

I made it, eventually, and now for the moment I'd really been waiting for. I was homesick for Sylvarant, I admit it! Raine told us all about how she and Genis were originally from Tethe'alla. How they'd been abandoned at those ruins by their mother. (Undoubtedly for a good reason.) Then, who should show up but the STINKING CARDINAL KNIGHTS and...and Kuchinawa! That creep! Kuchinawa went on about how he hated Sheena for "killing his parents". It was an accident, and does he not know how the memory of that incident has tortured her?!

'Course then it turns out that he could have forgiven that (BUT DIDN'T) and it was her befriending of Sylvarant's Chosen that really set him off. He claimed that had simply crossed the line. Sheena said she'd give up her life if he left the rest of us alone. He swore he'd do it and she stepped forward.

I am again reminded of why I love Zelos. He interrupted them, telling Sheena in no short terms that it wouldn't be any good if she died. Besides, who really thought Kuchinawa was going to let us live after she was dead?

The gate chose to open at this time (pretty cool stuff xD) and everyone's favorite redhead took the chance to drag the ninja through. The rest of us followed quickly and the gate closed up before Coochie (Kuchi, short for Kuchinawa. Geddit? It's a nickname and demeaning at the same time!) and mustachio's knights could follow after. I think Kuchinawa swore, but I'm not sure. I was laughing too hard.

Keep in mind that it was nighttime when we went through. Either Sylvarant and Tethe'alla have shifted timelines our group was out for several hours. When we came to, it was broad daylight and we were on the outskirts of Palmacosta.

T^T Lovely seaside city...how I missed it. And Izoold, Asgard, Triet, Luin...Iselia.

Now, this entry is getting ridiculously long and I'm going through Symphonia withdrawal. Goodbye for now. Even if I am still in that wretched Temple of Darkness...!

(Is this good Sky? biggrin Not a cliffhanger now is it?)
