The books I have read
they all say the same
one day he shall come
and to his castle we shall go
Happily ever after
for us it should be

But the books have lied
never will he come
alone I shall stay
locked in a tower away
Nothing there but me
and the guard dragon

No prince charming here
just a lonely princess
with a heart that is
far worse then broken
The heart that should be whole
shattered upon the wall

Broken far beyond repair
no tape nor glue
can even hope to fix
the nails have tried but failed
The only thing to hold
this frail is a jar

Lock it out of sight
where no one can touch
save the last pieces
let the light try
To heal the hurt
so deep inside
