How has this world changed everything that was suposed to be so right into things that are so wrong?

The voice of the world screams from every side, for our whole lives, screaming the lies.
Love is impatient, Love is unkind, love envys what it cannot have, and it boasts of what it does. Stride with pride, and snub those who dosn't diserve your love, take only for yourself. When your loved one has wronged you, keep track, so you can throw it in their face when they complain about what you do to them. Lie to their face, why should you feel bad, they do it to you, right? Don't stick out your neck, and don't trust them, after all, why should you care? In the end, hope is futile, because nothing lasts, people will leave once they got what they want, and it always ends in a messy way.

But that's not my love....when I love....it's not like that. So why do I expect other people to love that way? And in the end, if you really look at that, that's not love.

Love is patient, Love is kind,
It does not envy, it does not boast,
It is not proud, It is not rude,
It is not self-seeking,
It is not easily angered,
It keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.

Love always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.

Love bears all things, believes all things,
hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never ends.

So how does the world tell me there is no love when it's right here in front of me? Please.....forgive me, and help me learn how to trust....I love you.
