I was driving to work when I saw that elderly lady walking down the street. Naturally I pulled over and asked her if she needed a lift. It was a bit cold out side and I didnt want her to catch a cold. Well she got in and we began to drive off when she told me that I was the first one to pull over for her. That she had been walking since 5 this morning trying to get to her car where her husband and grand kids where (they had a flat and she went to get a phone) She told me at least 50 cars passed her without any one pulling over. What is the world coming to where you see an older lady on the side of the street walking and you don't pull over? Well I got to her car and held out my phone and told her she could use it to call anyone to come help. Well after she got done she turned to me and held out a 100 dollar bill and said take it its for helping me out. I said to her I couldnt possibly take this from some one in need just do this for me be careful its cold out here. I smiled and hugged the lady and went to work. Well the next day I was working early when the same old lady came threw my line and she said Nancy thats the girl I told you about. I looked up and there stood her daughter. She walked around the counter and hugged me telling me how much it ment to her that i helped her mother and her kids. I was so freaked out buy all of this that I couldnt really talk much less tell them that it really was no big deal. I was just raised right.
