Abigale and Eli are my mutant streetkids. Abigale can turn herself invisible and Eli turns into a dog. They met after Abi ran away. Eli found out what she could do and decided she would be handy to have around... and then she kind of grew on him. Abigale has adopted him as her big brother.
Eli:
Eli ran away from home at fifteen after he found he couldn't hide his abilities anymore. He gets on alright on his own - switching to dog mode means he doesn't mind sleeping in the park so much, though he's wary of animal control. Eli is very loyal to Abigale and will do anything to keep her safe.

Abigale:
Abigale found out her mutant powers at eight, when one of her older brothers tried to scare her and she went invisible. She heard her parents discussing what they would do with her. When she heard their plans, she decided to run away to the city, where she met Eli,who took her under his wing.
Abi's abilities help them steal food and clothing when they need it, and she can sneak into places to stay. She can't stay invisible while she's sleeping, though. She's still a little girl and sometimes the street life is tough on her, even though Eli does his best to protect her. She dreams of a real home, where she can be herself. Also, a unicorn or two wouldn't be so bad either.
