I am constantly bombarded with beggars for items and gold. The fact is, most gaians hold their actual worth in items, rather than in gold. We quest, just like you, though maybe for slightly more expensive items. So, in the honor of being helpful (and so I will have this for future use when the next beggar comes round my way) I am posting a couple of tips and linking some helpful threads.
