1 Egg White
1/8 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

1/4 Cup White Sugar

1. Preheat Oven: 400*F
-Butter Cookie sheet
-Fortune Sheets 4inch/ 1/2 inch wide.
2. Mix Egg-white + Vanilla until foamy (not stiff)
-Sift flour, salt, and sugar then blend into egg mixture.
3. Place teaspoon dallops of batter onto sheet at least 4 inches apart.
-Cookies 3 inches in diameter.
-Not too many, need to be hot to shape. When cooled, they're formed.
4. Bake for 5 minutes (or until golden 1/2 inch on edges)
-Remove, place upside-down.
-Put fortune inside
-Fold in half, push outer ends together over thing object (glass, spatula, etc)
-Put folded cookies into curved object to hold shape
