Sometimes, I don't know if Dr. Mendlik is an orthodontist or a starship pilot.
You remember the "Keyes' Loop", right? The move Keyes pulled off in "The Fall of Reach" against that Covenant ship? You know, before he was promoted to Captain? You're also wondering what that has to do with my orthodontist, I'm guessing.
Well, I got my lower archwire changed. It's now a funny-looking one with four odd little bends in it. They called it something to the effect of "Double Keyhole Loop Reduced Curve". It reminded me of "Keyes' Loop", so that's what I like to call it. Easier than remembering the whole name.
Either way, though, it hurts like heck. Have I ever mentioned how much I hate braces?
