Love
What is love?
Love is a figment of the human emotion
Trapped within a world of
Hate and devotion
Love is when two of the same
Or opposite sex
Devote and denote one another into insanity!
What is this?
This thing in my chest
What is it, a heart?
Beating rhythmically in time
What a divine
As it explodes into pattern
In just a touch
What is this thing
Inside of my head?
As it sets in memory and rhyme
It encloses my sanity
And much of the time
It is dead!
Love
It is a figment of our heart and our brain
To create the illusion
That we are one
As the beat of a drum
And the thrum of our hearts
Beating as one
