Umi and Kairi were sitting on Destiny Island. Just coming back from The Castle that Never was, the girls stood there worried for Riku and Sora. Umi is the younger twin to Riku, she actually did look a bit like him. She had the silver hair and the teal-blue eyes. Only difference in the two was she was a girl and he was a boy. Kairi had dark red hair with blue eyes, and was a bit shorter than Umi.

Anyway Umi and Kairi were waiting worried for their friends, Umi, knowing how Riku was, was begging that she wouldn't lose Riku to the darkness again. Kairi just worried that Sora might get himself killed. They sat there waiting, while Kairi was nearly into tears waiting, and wanting both of them to come back safely.

Before the two knew it, the Gummie Ship that was being driven by Sora, crashed into the water. Riku was the first to appear. He had sliver hair and teal-blue eyes as well, only thing was his was softer than Umi's eyes. Now the twins were the children of Sephiroth Balmore. Sephiroth was one of the first class SOLDIERS of Shin-Ra's workers.

Umi was the first out of the girls into the water to hug her brother. She glomped him, which is a tackle-hug from the underworld.

"RIKU! You're okay!" She said.
"Gah! Umi! Careful! My ribs!" Riku told her.
"I'm sorry!" she let go of him.
"It's okay Umi..." he looked at his sister and tried to hide the pain.
"If you want...I can heal that for you..." Umi told him.
"Naw, your better at Elemental Magic than white Magic Ums."

The two walked back to Lulu's place, Collen, Umi's stuffed cat made by Riku, sat on Umi's head as they walked to Lulu's place. She looked at the twins, and heared what happened to Riku. She healed him and told him to relax for a while, which of course he didn't. He felt like he didn't have time since he was supporting both him and his twin sister.

A few days later, Umi saw her older twin brother standing by the Popau Tree that has been there since they were first at the island. Umi hopped up in it, wondering what Riku was doing. She looked out over the ocean, then looked at Riku.

"What are you doing?" she asked.
"Nothing, so are you going to school tomorrow Umi?" he asked.
"I don't know Riku..."
He twitched at these words.
"I mean I have missed two years already looking for you and Kairi!" She explained.
How could she be thoughtless... he thought the fact that I did everything for her to make it this far...
"I just don't know Riku..." she told him.
"Your going to school tomorrow...no buts Umi." Riku said coldly.
"But Riku!" Umi started.
"I said, No. Buts." he glared at her. He then walked off.

Umi sighed as her twin walked off. She looked out over the ocean again. Wonder why Riku was acting the way he was.

A month and a half has gone by. Umi talked with Selphie and Kairi about why Riku didn't go to school. Which then had Umi wondering why as well. She walked home and saw her brother passed out on the couch. Her little stuffed cat, that was enchanted by magic, was curled up next to Riku. She worked on her homework, then went into the kitchen to cook.

"Riku dinner's ready!" Umi called.
Riku jolted up and got up to go to the table. "Looks good Ums." he said
"Thanks Ri..." she sat down and started eating.
The two were quiet for a bit until Umi asked, about Riku not going to school.
"Umi, I don't want to talk about it." he said.
"SO what you Laze around all day then while I'm in school!?" she asked.
"That's what you think?' he scoffed. "You really think that's all I do?!
"Well yeah! I come home from school every day and there you are sleeping!"
"DAMMIT UMI!" Riku yelled as he got up. "I work my a** off every day so YOU can go to school! So YOU can get you want! I never once asked for a thank you! I wanted you to still believe that Dad cared! I'm so sick and tired of you being little miss princess while I work my a** off! I wanted you to get that education that you needed!"
