Name: Akantha (ak'-an-thah) - (meaning a prickly plant, thorn)

Race: Dryad
~Appearance~
Tree Type - Willow located in the middle of a swamp
Eyes: Moss Green with flecks of yellow. The glow like a wil-o-wisp at night
Ears: No true ears. Just small knots on the side of her head.
Skin: bark, bugs do like to craw in the crevices, also moss and muck appears here and there on her (she does live in a swamp)
Hands: 3 fingered, gnarly, (think old peoples hand joints when they have arthritis). Small thorns on the fingers
Feet: Roots that go about an inch underground (slow walker)
Legs: from the feet to about the knees shes usually covered in mud, muck, and moss from walking through the swamp
Hair: long and look like willow leaves and branches.
Head Accessories: she goes around collecting branches she likes and graphs them (using mud and whatnot until her own skin forms to the branches) onto her head to form a crown like feature.
Other Accessories: She can sometimes be seen with birds nests, animals, and/or bugs in her hair so sometimes they leave feathers and whatnot.
Also like to collect flowers to put in her hair. Usually the flowers are poison/deadly types.
Scars: She has a deep ax scar on her left shoulder and left hip. Her right side is slightly fire blackened.
Other: She has some pet Wil-O-Wisps that guide people to her so that she can drown them in the swamp.
~Personality~
Peaceful to animals not to humans
Loves when animals hang out on her. She also like rainstorms and trying to drag people to their death. Their bodies provide nutrients for her to live and she absorbs those nutrients through her roots. Once she gets someone she wont move for a week afterward to make sure she absorbed everything.
Hates when it doesn't rain for awhile. The cold and fire.
So this OC was created in an OC design freebie thread. I gave PocketDex a basic idea and she went from there. So the original image (above) is from her. I just went and added a bit more and made the personality.
