Jewelry: he has a silver Egyptian-esque arm-band that's several inches tall. A single blooming rose with a drop of blood on a protruding thorn is carved into the metal. It is colored red, green, and scarlet. He also has a necklace with just the bloom of a rose on it in silver and in black.
Clothing styles: simple. He wears black leather pants and button down shirts, and usually thong sandals on his feet.
Make-up: eye-shadow, eye-liner, whatever colors match his outfit
Other form(s): he has scars all over his arms from shoulders to wrists that he hides. He tried to ease the internal pain with external pain as a teen, and even tried to die, but the fates deemed him necessary and he is not permitted to die. He grew out of that and is shamed by his childhood weakness, so the scars are only visible when he’s terrified, which has only been 2 or 3 times in several thousand years.

Family: his family was actually human, he was elevated to the status of Fate shortly after birth when the fates realized exactly how strong his natural empathy was. Knowing he would likely die at the hands of humans who took advantage of his ability, they intervened and made him a Fate. He stayed with his human family until a few years after he stopped aging at 22. They died thousands of years ago.

Personality: Tobey is very quiet. He is somber, a loner, shy, paranoid, shielded, sweet, kind, loyal, protective, gentle, fierce when he needs to be, and very neat and clean. He loves animals and is amazing at nursing them back to health. His favorite game is chess and he loves classical music and baking. Not cooking, just baking.

As the fate of pain he absorbs the pain of the universe. He’s not in constant agony or anything, it’s more like background noise and he’s mostly numb to it. After being channeled through him the pain of the world is lessened to an acceptable amount, unless he’s absorbing too much at once, in which case he cannot help. In addition any time he touches someone or they touch him, he feels every ounce of pain they’ve ever felt and absorbs it. He does this to potential suicides sometimes to leave them feeling better, and he can harness and use all the world’s pain as a weapon. Meaning if someone attacks him, all he has to do is touch them, and millennia worth of pain will zap their body, killing his opponent instantly. Unless he wishes to draw it out and release the pain in smaller increments over long periods of time. But Tobey only does that when you threaten his friends or innocent animals.

His Fate status had made him very paranoid and he has major trust issues. He prefers animals to people (or other higher intelligence type beings) any day. But since his arrival in the Glade of the Forgotten Ones he has made friends, and though he doesn’t interact with them much he still loves them dearly. He watches from the shadows and sits in the library or gardens reading for hours. He discovered, quite by chance, after falling asleep on the beach during a group picnic, that Order can touch him without hurting him. He has since discovered that if he trusts and cares for someone deeply, and shields his mind, he can touch them without pain. So far that only includes Order, Yamatra, and Davia. Though that last may be because he already absorbed all her pain once.
Tobey is very friendly and gentle, and likes to tell stories to the little ones at naptime occasionally. He spends a lot of time outside, and he is actually the one who planted and cares for the rose fields in the Glade. He often comes across as young and sweet and innocent, but he makes sure Order doesn’t see him that way. And hell hath no fury like Tobey when you threaten an animal (or Order), even if it’s just a stray raccoon getting into the trash. He’ll rush out and shoo it, but if you threaten it he gets very angry and he’s a scrappy little bugger when he wants to be.
