Primary Power: Renee can shapeshift to other forms of humanoids. It starts out with just simple changes, like her nose shape or her hair length, for a short period of time, and soon can become more drastic (such as skin color or body build) and longer changes. Some of these changes can include simple, animalistic changes, so long as she still is mainly humanoid. There are various ways she can use this power, mostly for defensive purposes, though, if Renee knows what she is doing, it can be an offensive tool as well. Right now, if Renee can believe hard enough she has pointed fingernails, for example, after some time, she will have pointed fingernails - sure, they'd only last for a minute or so, if lucky maybe more, but still, with pointed fingernails, she can scratch an enemy, at least.

Shape shifting (humanoid shapes only)

Secondary Power: Her secondary power involves touch - with this, she can get others to shapeshift, whether or not if they are willing. Again, this would be dependant on believing they are what she imagines as the two - Renee and another person, good or bad - are in touch, literally, and can become more drastic and longer changes as well. However, if the person is immune to touch or powers from touch, there is no effect.

Basic Background: Renee was born to two French people - her mother Adelaide, and her father Victor, who moved to America for business purposes when his only daugher was 8. Renee has a brother, Adrien, but he went to college - after all, the two are 9 years apart. The only one aware about her powers at the time was Adelaide, who had seen her daughter's hair color change from red to bluish-white in an instant and when Renee didn't know, Adelaide called the doctor - and her hair went back to red. The doctor couldn't find anything, and it all went from there. Adelaide saw Renee's lips become a bit bigger, too - and called the doc again, thinking it was swollen - and her lips soon shrank. Suspicious, she got a hold of Victor, who was the same when she told him. How Renee's body could do so is unknown to her right now.

Cries could be heard from Renee's bedroom at night... the reason was unknown, at least to her parents. In Renee's room was a television, and her favorite show was always interrupted for the past week, with words being spoken in French, the equalivalent of this:
"There is a special report. I'm Mirabelle Leninse, on the scene..." Then she explained the situation between the North American superhero Flashcharge and an African villain. Flashcharge was well-known to the Crosilles (her father did move to America for business and send some letters, after all) and from what she had heard of the hero, she believed him to be the best person on Earth, tied with her father for first place male. This was the beginning of all the troubles raging within Renee; they shown for the rest of that week all the damage the villain had done. Soon, Renee's crying got very bad - it was becoming louder and louder every night. Her mother ran into Renee's room, making the child startled. Her pink teddy bear pajamas were slightly soaked in perspiration from fright. "Renee? Is something wrong, little one?"

"Mother..." The girl was curled up on her bed, knees to her chest, arms hugging the legs. "I'm scared... will someone bad come to Paris like they did in Cairo?" "What? Is it a nightmare, sweetie?" was her mother's response, until she looked at the television, seeing images of the former pyramids crumbled on the ground, the ticker below saying "Cairo ravaged by supervillain," and the woman soon realized why.

"How long has this been showing on the television?" Even the adult was scared. "A week... why, mother?" Luckily Renee did not notice how scared her parent was.

This worked to her mother's advantage, too. Hugging her daughter, she told Renee "It'll be OK... I don't think they'll come along to harm us... I don't think..." And in thought, the mother's mind was racing, pondering and wondering... will they really go to harm Paris? It's almost right across the Mediterranian, and if not it really is close to Cairo! Renee interrupted her thoughts saying "I feel a little better now."
With that, the woman let go of her daughter, replying "OK. It's time to go to sleep now, little one. Good night." "Good night, mother." And Renee went under the rainbow covers of the bed as her mother shut off the light and left.
