what a coward's way of escape. life is a challenge, and you were born as a player to conquer it.
and now my tears are falling, and my water bottle in my lap is collecting them, making my fresh water salty.
disgusting. i'm disgusting. for even crying. i know i dug myself a hole. i'm a fool. and i've always told myself that, but hearing those words come out of someone else's mouth is just the salt on a wound. especially if they come from the mouth of the one you love and respect the most.
they make it wider and wider until you're all just muscle and veins and everything stings.
it's just hills.
right now i'm at the bottom of one.
but being at the bottom sucks.
