Attention those of you who like Sonic's sweet green tea/diet green tea:
DON'T ORDER IT AFTER NOON.
Tea only stays fresh for four or five hours after it's brewed, six at the very most. Our sweet and unsweet teas get used up within a couple hours and we have to brew fresh batches all the time, so you can order those whenever you like and it'll always taste delicious (if you like tea, that is. I'm not really a tea person, so it's all disgusting to me).
The green teas, on the other hand, are rarely ordered, so most of the time we only brew one batch a day. that means that the same tea that is brewed early in the morning when we open is still sitting out, at room temperature, when we close around midnight. By then, it's been stale for about twelve hours.
Some locations store their tea in the fridge though, and that stays good for 24 hours.
so unless you know that it's refrigerated, don't order green tea late in the day. I don't care if it's half price from 2 to 4, DON'T DRINK IT.
