In the snow, rain, and sleet.
You don't have any company,
You're the one always left out on the streets.
You travel here, you travel there,
And never do you rest.
Life will only get harder,
So traveling you feel is best.
You go days without any food,
Nor water do you drink.
You never even stop to rest,
To talk, to breathe, to think.
The road is long and lonesome,
But it's what your destined for.
And before long you end your journey
Away from civilization, you are no more.
You have walked your life away
But that is not the all.
For your soul remains, tattered and pained,
And continues to walk, to crawl.
No one ever knew who you were.
Not that anyone cared.
So continue you're never-ending journey
To escape, but you weren't prepared.
The road is long and lonesome,
And now you know there is no end
So don't run away, it doesn't work that way,
Just go home, and come up with a better plan.
Sadness doesn't go away. Pain demands to be felt.
