Shelter Life
So to fill the void of losing my first cat I decided to try my hand at volunteer work. I started yesterday, and I gotta say it's actually very fun. Something to do on my days off I suppose. All of my tasks were very simple but I liked playing with the cats the most. They've got, like, 12 kittens in the back. Who doesn't want to be surrounded by fluffy kittens?
There are cats in the back that have leukemia. Really heart breaking actually. You know they're gonna die because of it and yet they're so sweet. There was this fat one named Boskow. Sweet as a button haha! Kinda wish I could take one home just to smother it with love but I digress.
Think I might go back in a few days. I gotta worry about school first, but I'm sure I'll have nothing to do on a weekend and can lend a hand. Those food bowls won't wash themselves!
