And now, a poem. This is a fast poem, kind of like a rap. I shiver and shake when the demon awakes. Try to suppress these mind games my thinking creates. All the unconscious thought fodder fictitious and dazed. Through unseen provocations, my heart is now a maze. Lost in the pathways, confused and alone. Love and hate fight against each other to the bone. Trying to earn the right to be the sole survivor. But if hate wins, then I surely can't revive her. The catalyst explodes, then emotions erupt. Until the sun and moon fade and time becomes corrupt. Sadness and agony have found their way inside. I regret the decisions I decided to hide. Please, my angel, be the one to guide me home. Where the stars stay golden and rust evolves to chrome. For the chemisty you teach is the kind that's meant for me. And not some corny, falsified show I've seen on TV. Thus, my heart turns to glass and shatters. As my hopes run dry and my dreams fall flatter. For the goddess of beauty has turned away. My emotions turn to dust and the broom sweeps them away. But wait! It was all a nightmare, forgive me. I'm glad this prophecy was not a cruel reality. For one last chance is all I need to say. A few magical words to keep the evil thoughts away.
