Goal:
Takakage's goals are amiable, benevolent but somewhat naive. Fitting in with his Famous name of "Gakusha"; Takakage believes that all conflict stems from ignorance and a lack of education and it is his dream to cut down that ignorance. His goal is to put an end to all conflict through learning and attain peace through understanding.

Personality/Mannerism:
A gentle and soft spoken young man in both voice and look; Takakage has an inability to appear fierce or stern and often has to make up for it with the use of sarcasm or guilt-tripping. He is a fine orator and a very wise scholar despite his age. He will often engage in debates to stimulate his mind and attempt to learn from the people around him.
However, Takakage is also quite a shy person who is more than willing to admit that if it weren't for his "addiction" to learning or his sagacious nature that he would for go all social interaction in order to study. But he has come to the realization that one cannot learn everything from the past or from books; they must branch out from themselves and learn from other persons. Intelligence and Wisdom, in Takakage's eyes, is the accumulation of shared experience.
Takakage is hardly ever seen not reading even in the middle of a fight. It is once he put his books down that you know you are in trouble.
Takakage's character also has a more hidden quality about it though than the obvious "Learning-Mad Scholar" or the "Soft Speaking Youth". Takakage also has a deeper side to him that only ever really shows when it comes to his Clan and Origins. Although he is fiercely loyal to Suna now, it was not always the case. What troubles him is not about place but about people. Takakage, when confronted with his Clansmen, will sometimes feel in two minds. He will hold back but still make a good enough showing to make Suna proud. This also happens when he is faced with his Father.
Facial Features:
Known to most of the Sunagakure bachelorettes not just as "Gakusha" but "Hansamu Gakusha" (trans. The Handsome Scholar) Takakage is surely appealing to the eyes. His soft facial features are a mirror of his personality and could never possibly show sign of anger or sadness. Even though his complexion is somewhat boy-like, he is a rather desired match for many daughters.
His eyes can sometimes show a great solemnity or loneliness. They are also the way in which you can tell that The Scholar is deep in thought.
Physique:
Takakage has the stereotypical body of a Thinker rather than a Fighter. He is tall and slender, which may make him not as physically strong as some of his peers but he makes up for this through his use of Kekkei Genkai and swordplay. He is more about speed and technique over brute force.

Nawanuke no Jutsu is a very basic Ninjutsu that allows a ninja to escape from rope binds.
• Kinobori no Waza - Act of Tree Climbing ~ E Rank
Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra. It also teaches the ninja how to run up trees and walk on vertical walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are regarded as the hardest location to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will have any jutsu available (theoretically) because they will be able to focus their chakra as needed.
