(Man I've missed a lot, ....on the bright side my mouth feels better!! Wisdom teeth removal was total success!)
Nightmare of the Avatar above me:
He looked at onlookers from under the cover of the dark shadows, he was standing just behind the light of a the park lamp post. His name was Sky Jean. The papers in his right hand rustled at the night breeze. You could barely see his mischievous grin shining out from that hunched down face. His tall hat made him look ominous. He slowly hummed as he fiddled with the watch on his left hand. He had just left an important business meeting. He was always on time, never late, and was a very hard worker. But over the past few month, a new co-worker joined the business firm. And he was one sly little devil. He would always beat Sky to his favorite seat. Also just as Sky would speak, he would jump in and take over the conversation. It felt like everything Sky wanted to do would be taken over by this new guy. Pretty soon everyone would forget Sky. But Sky was not going to let that happen. So tonight as he checked his watch and reviewed his papers, the business meeting didn't go as planned, everyone only noticed the new guy. Well he would have tell his boss Mr. Smith directly. His boss always took a midnight stroll this time of night. Footsteps and laughter came close, and Sky could see one figure as his boss Mr. Smith, and as the group got closer and closer, the person next to him was the new guy!!!! Sky couldn't take anymore, and so he runs up and......!
What do you think he will do? To be continued.....

Contest Entry 3/9/15 Nightmare above you
In a little chair, at a little table, at a little cafe sits a little lady who's name was Maxamista. She's wearing her favorite dress with her favorite shoes while she sits under the canopy of the umbrella attached to her table on this sunny summer day. She sips from her teacup, nibbling on her biscuit from time to time. As she types on her laptop the hustle and bustle of customers continues behind her. A couple of people exit the cafe with carriers of drinks in their hands. A little boy runs to the dessert counter, knocking the people off balance in the process. Suddenly Maximista's laptop is ruined and she is drenched in coffee and tea. She looks around through blurred vision to find her glasses that have been knocked from her face in all of the commotion. Upon finding her glasses she picks them back up and puts them back on. Through cracked lenses she takes stock of the situation and realises that not only is her laptop broken, he lenses are cracked, but her clothes have suddenly disintegrated. She lets out a a wail and sits up in her bed. Her lenses are fine, her laptop still works, and her favorite dress is pressed and hanging in her closet. She lays back down and drifts back to sleep thinking "I'll just have some coffee at home today."

While the avatar above is taking a nap, her book comes to life and the words start sliding off the page and surrounding her. As the letters form new words, the action they describe happen. "Flood" gets the bed wet, "Sun" dries it out, and "fire" sets the end of the bed on fire. Letters scramble to form "snow", "water" and "help", to put the fire out. The avi wakes up from this nightmare, screaming. Smoke fills the room, the letters rush back to the book to reform into a new story, and she runs screaming from the room, to be caught by the guys in white coats. They shake their heads at the fantastic story she tells them, taking the book with them to give to her in her padded cell, for reading material. And the nightmare begins again......
