Yos peeps. I haven't been on in a while cuz i sprained/fractured my ankle (they couldn't tell at the ER) so just moving turned into a challege. The crutches hurt my armpits. sweatdrop So yesterday, my choir went to a compitition/festival called music in the parks where we sang 3 songs infront of a judge:
1. "Do re mi" from the sound of music, which was only a warm-up song and wasn't judged thank the lord. 2. "Ching-A-Ring-Chaw" by Alan Copland. This one was judged, but I don't like this song that much. 3. "Going up a yonder" This was the best song ever. Allyson said that someone told her when we started singing it the judges said, "wow, they're amazing..." Needless to say, Its our best song.
We sang these songs at this high school and then went to CEDAR POINT! Which was awesome because I was on crutches and then I had to go on a wheelchair through the park, which meant that I didn't have to wait in any lines at all!!!!!!!!!!!! For all the little rides, i got to cut infront of everyone and for the big ones, i got a book that told me which time i got to come back and ride. And for all the big rides, i got to choose where i wanted to sit on the rides, so I got to sit in front for all the rides i went on! I went on:
1.The Skyhawk (one of the only wheel-chair acessible rides that I did have to wait in line for.) 2. The Raptor (BEST FREAKING RIDE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!! I got to sit in the front for this one!) 3. The Witches Wheel Then we went to the awards ceremony, where my choir won best female choir, outstanding soloist(Allison) and best overall choir! Then we went on: 4. The Magnum (second best ride) 5. The blue streak (this thing's as old as my dad! And thats old!) 6. Chaos (a sweet ride even though it was a small ride) 7. The Troika (kinda stupid teeny ride) 8. The Wicked Twister (omg, This ride was really fast and scary, and my advice to you is if you ever got to Cedar Point, then don't ride this as your last ride or right before dinner. I was still spinning afterwards and that was when we had to eat dinner. I didn't throw up, but let me just say I was thankful I was in a wheelchair.)
My dad said it was a miracle that we only had to wait in line for a combined total of 1 hour for 8 rides. And that it was a miracle we got to ride 8 rides in 7 hours, not taking into consideration that we ate lunch and had to go to the awards ceremony in the middle of all that. I told a bunch of the girls we went on 8 rides and they like freaked out. They were like,"omg ur so lucky you got to cut in front of all the lines." So yeah. Needless to say it was awesome.
