1. Story matters to me most.
2. Sexual Content is totally cool with me, but let's have a healthy chat about it first.
3. I only rp with girls.
4. Grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency is very important to me, but I can be forgiving if effort is shown.
5. I talk a lot. I am an open book. I do not expect the same, but I will appreciate you for it so long as you are sincere.
6. I usually like to have an OOC chat going before the RP has started.
7. I now prefer to drive plots as close to 50/50 with my partners, but I am used to taking the reigns if need be.
8. If you don't understand a word or phrase I use, please ask me or look it up.
9. Please only original character stories. I don't often like to play Series main characters as my own.
10. I'm older now. I have, unfortunately, the need to work and make money to live. I'll let you know about absences. Please do the same for me.
11. Please keep in mind that we will very likely not start right away. I will have other Journal Entries up soon with as much information on me, my preferences, and my experiences, so unless you want to just talk me about those things, please read those and respond to any relevant questions in there. I no longer just jump into roleplays. I like to talk stuff out first and get to know you.

Old Starters for Reference, Mostly (subject to rapid edit as I don't like to start the same way twice)

1. Village Boy/ Neko

Gronfell was a valuable center of commerce and trade in the countryside, and it just so happened to be the center stage for history in the making as the recent war between the two nations that existed on either side of it ended only four years ago. This was the staging ground for the peace talks between the nobles of the human-dominated, highly religious and superstitious nation of Anthrosept and the non-human-creature baring nation of Dilthrinson. While the peace talks and trade agreements were mostly successful, the recent rumors of a slave trade starting with human nobles buying, trading, and selling nekos and dragonkin for all manner of dark uses helped set the stage for quiet accusations from Dilthrinson's war veterans and families as well as religious uproars from the commoners of Anthrosept. This, in turn, made fights break out in towns near the nation-dividing village of Gronfell. Both sides tried justifying the treatment of the other with stories, pretenses, and half-truths. However, one rumor in particular, slowly becoming a legend and therefore true in the minds of the less mindful common folk, was taking center stage thanks to recent "sightings" of nekos attacking and killing humans in the night.

Justin, a local villager and shop assistant in Gronfell, was a well-mannered, friendly, charming young man who cared nothing for rumors or myths. All he cared about was the family he was trying to help provide for and take care of. Most days, Justin would work from early afternoon until late evening at a local smith's shop, selling weapons, armor, and trinkets to anyone who was interested. As a token of his appreciation, the smith even made a brand new sword for Justin using the lightest and most magically attuned metal of mythril. Being very excited by this great gift, Justin kindly agreed to help the smith close shop today. It was now midnight, exactly when the horrible Midnight Panther was said to come out and take entire families away from good, honest humans. Of course, Justin didn't believe of word of it. Instead, he just ran off home to show his family his new sword, which he named "Illuminator" as it seemed to have a slight glow, even in the dead of night. Suddenly, however, as he passed the last corner to his family's humble home, the glow from Illuminator was completely outdone by the raging blaze that engulfed his home. Instantly, Justin ran to his burning home to check for his family. Unaware of the fire being of magical origin, the flames burned and raged toward living creatures. The smoke was already too much for his lungs to take, but the flames forced him out of his home with no sign of his family. As he tried to rise to try again, his body fell in a smoking heap, passed out and unconscious, while the flame settled to leave only ashes and hatred behind. His body lay out in front of his home, and with few other houses around it, it seemed nobody was coming to his rescue and get him breathing again.

2. Knight/ Princess

War had broken out again between the weakened nations of Grandaya and Kinsala. This time, the true cause was unknown to most, but the two rulers of each kingdom were old and full of hatred, regrets, and ambitions. The previous peace agreement between the two stood on shaky ground at best, but the real twist was that Grandaya's previous emperor, Aaron had been murdered, and the nation's new emperor, Aaron's cousin, Kain accused Kinsala's King Gustav of the crime. Both nation's suddenly found themselves in turmoil as both rulers order their weakened but loyal armies to go to war against the other. The winner would not only be seen as right, but they would also have ownership of the losing nation and its sacred treasure. Of course, Kinsala, being a nation that prized family over all else only had a symbolic treasure that once was thought to be of powerful, magical origins but has since been treated as a piece of priceless family history more than anything else. Meanwhile, Grandaya had the emblem of shadows, a national treasure that, to most in the kingdom, was something to be feared and guarded rather than prized, but King Gustav of Kinsala always felt strange about leaving such a dangerous artifact in the hands of such historically power-valuing rulers as those of Grandaya. Due to the war, many families and young folk were drafted and many more rebelled in small groups against the war, attacking caravans of either army. With such turmoil, few knew who to trust, and more importantly, who to try to protect as families were often ripped apart by their young people with differing ideals.

However, two young men, Justin, of 22 years, and Rob, 19 in age, had a different goal in mind. Such war would only end in death and destruction with nothing gained. That's what they believed. To stop such a tragedy, the two set out from Grandaya into Kinsala, hoping to speak with Kinsala's King Gustav and ask him to cease hostilities. It was a long shot, but it was better than trying to speak with the seemingly enraged and maddened Emperor Kain. Having stopped in a small town where Kinsala's Princess was said to be, the two hoped to be granted an audience and travel with the Princess to Kinsala's capital. While Rob, being a studious young man at heart was off trying to gather information about both the Princess' whereabouts and Kinsala's customs, Justin, with his silky, black hair, dashing looks, and aptitude for combat, decided it would be a good idea to participate in a local fight to defend a young woman who had come under attack by some local rebels with the intent to rape and kill - as if such a thing actually promoted their alleged cause.

3. Student/ Student

The worst fears of the 21st Century had been realized. The world once again was plunged into a world war. Though the war wasn't anywhere close to over in the eyes of those who were fighting it, the politicians and journalists of the world, those that were still alive anyway, were calling it "World War III". The NATO forces of the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Canada, Italy, and Norway were the only ones remaining to fight the invading forces of the Eastern Dawn Alliance comprised of China, North Korea, Russia, and the mysteriously reformed Germany. However, this war was no longer being fought by your average soldiers. The Eastern Beginning, the bombing of several nations and innocent and military persons alike, had wiped out more than 80% of the worlds people ages 25 and over. With many of China's young adults, teenagers, and children already trained for combat, it fell on the young people of NATO's nations to continue the fight. With so many families lost and so many students suddenly orphans, hundreds of thousands of young men and woman, between the ages of 14 and 24, were either drafted or eager to fight back and take revenge. However, every New Age soldier was required to attend "college", or rather the New Age Military Training Institutions, for at least four years before heading overseas to fight the good fight - or at least a fight advertised as such.

The war had raged on now for 30 years, with 20 of those years being of the New Age. Every student in the NAMTIs had, for the most part, been born into the war and raised by either military trainers or severely injured New Age soldiers returning from an overseas battle. With so few adults left in the world, the military officers in charge of education were mostly training students in combat with standard guns, explosives, and knives, but a select few among them were being specially trained for hand-to-hand combat and unique weaponry.

At the NAMTI of Strongstan, somewhere on the east coast where a major city used to stand, Justin, a 22-year-old Senior student was getting ready for another exam. It would be his first exam that took place out in the ruins of the city, where many small strike teams of the Eastern Dawn Alliance were known to be stationed. The only thing keeping them out of the NAMTI was the ever-watchful New Age patrols a 1 mile radius around the school. Justin had been trained in all the standards arts of warfare, including hand guns, rifles, grenades, army knives, basic swordplay, and even a little field medical training. However, his specialties definitely lied in the hand gun and sword. He was near the top of his class, ranking 10th in his class of 100. He decided to practice his rifle prowess in the shooting range, trying to make head shots with his first s**t as many times in a row as he could. Several of the young female students around him were fawning over him as he trained, adoring his silky, black hair, his compact, muscular build, and his handsome face, let alone his accuracy with a gun.

4. Knight/ Princess

War had broken out between the strictly law-driven Judgril and the faith-driven Aposalem. The dutiful, fair King Dracon of Judgril was outraged when his young, law-bending daughter was taken captive by the High Apostle of Aposalem's Order of Divine Knights, refusing to believe that even his daughter, known to run off to explore out of boredom, was said trespassing on Aposalem's "holy land". Outraged, the King sent his standing army of 250,000 men and women to war against Aposalem's temporary army comprised mostly of male farmers, black smiths, and mercenaries. Alongside their army, the Order of Divine Knights and the Wizards and Witches of various orders in the country fought against the 250,000 trained soldiers.

Thinking superior numbers would crush whatever Aposalem could defend with, the King soon found himself with half the army he sent out. His soldiers were only trained for swords, shields, bows, arrows, axes, spears, and the occasional war hound. Instead, his army found itself confronting small waves of fodder, being the farmers, black smiths, and working folk, while being attacked from a distance by magical fires, hailstorms, and lightning bolts. Within a month, the only reports the King received from the battlefront was that hardly any noteworthy ground had been gained in a month of fighting and that his army remained at barely half its strength, morale all but decimated. Furious with the lack of progress and frustrated at the unexpected battle tactics of his enemy, the King began hiring mercenary companies and even assassins in secret to search and destroy the leaders behind each battlefront. However, with most of his secret conscripts failing and only a handful returning to report that the leaders were simply replaced on the spot, the King was being left with few options to secure the rescue of his daughter.

Desperate and unwilling to compromise and accept the story given to him by the High Apostle, the King sent out his most trusted knight and bodyguard, Kain to take to the one secured area in Aposalem's border and make for the High Apostle's Cathedral to rescue his daughter. Traveling alone through the holy land of Aposalem and avoiding any unnecessary conflicts, Kain had finally sneaked his way into the Cathedral after the second month of the war had passed. Being cautious but quick, Kain found the Princess chained above the grand alter in the center of the majestic building, hanging by her arms and neck with her feet barely touching the alter. She was nearly naked, having only rags to cover her breasts and upper thighs. Unable to waste any time for their escape, Kain ran to the Princess, finding it eerily odd that there were no guards, mages, or apostles about to prevent the Princess' escape. Still, he couldn't abandon her there, so he began to cut the chains with his great sword whispering to the Princess to wake her, "Your Highness! Your Highness, wake up, please! It's Sir Kain! Your father sent me! Please, you have to wake up!"
