So seeing like everybody posting their 'whathaveIbeenuptos' made me want to do my own, but bleh...no poll for you! xd

I got hired by the pulp mill here (Eurocan/West Fraser) for extra help during their shutdown for maintence and stuff. My temporary position there is called "Hatch watch". Pretty much I make sure that the construction people are safe. I call for gas tests no less or more than 20 minutes before they enter the hatch, and I have to make sure everybody comes out. I got a hard hat and a neat goody bag full of equipment (that I have to return later). I'm totally gonna take a picture of me in my hard hat and green visi vest. xd

I start tonight at 6:30 till 7:00 am. This should be good. The people who were giving us the safety courses kept saying how boring it is and how we can't do anything except for watch them. xD If we are caught sleeping, reading, listening to music, etc...we get let go and not called back. 12 hours! Wow! And I heard the pay will be about 20 dollars an hour. It's only for this week though, but still...if I get called in every day this week at 300 dollars for 12 hours, that's...over 1,000. eek The pay day isn't until June 1rst though.

So yeah, I'll be on night shifts for it so not a lot of posting for me. Even less than I already do. xD hehe.
