I don't think you understand: When you spend time with someone, you can't just fall asleep. You just can't.
What you are doing is leaving them alone; as if you never came to visit. Its like you never showed up in the first place, and yet they know you are still there.
They feel isolated, and yet cannot say anything about it because you are there, and yet not there. Yes, because you would get upset, right?
If they said something, you'd say, "I'm tired, Friend." "I'm still here with you though." But you're not.
To them, its the same old routine: 1) Go home. 2) Put away things. 3) Rest. 4) Wait.
Except when you come over, its something they looked forward to. Something they've been wanting. But then you "leave".
You selfishly use them to gain rest. After they have taken care of you, because after all: you are the guest. But lets be fair, have you considered that they, yes they, are tired too?
They may not have the same job, or do the things you do. But have you looked at their face lately? Have you seen how hard they try to please you?
Have you forgotten that maybe, just maybe, this is all they have? That you are all they have to wait for in the day? I didn't think so.
And so, you get angry at them. you don't understand why they are so "quiet" so "distant" from you. Because they are disappointed.
They do so much, with out being noticed. They care for you, but do not receive the same care. And you get angry at them, so you leave.
The routine begins again. Without you.
