FINALLY FINISHED MY REILYN X CHAZZ one-shot-ish fic :3
Reilyn sighed to herself as she overheard Chazz blabbering something about how much he "loves" Alexis. She fully admitted to herself she was in love with Chazz. Unfortunately she got stuck sitting behind him, Jaden , Syrus and Atticus in the dueling history class.
She sat up with her head held high, trying to support the tears she was fighting from her eyes.
Reilyn went to stand up for a second to pick up something she dropped under the table and fainted, falling backwards on the table behind her.
The whole class paused as they heard the collapse sound and Jaden was the first one who turned around and spoke "OH MY GOD IT WAS REILYN!! LET'S RUSH HER TO NURSES OFFICE!!"
Syrus tried to help lift Reilyn on Jaden's back, while Chazz stood there in silence. To be honest, he actually cared for Reilyn as well, but never bragged on it like with Alexis.
On the way there, Jaden about letting Reilyn slip off his back a few times by accident, Chazz was following closely behind to make sure they were careful with her.
Jaden went to turn a corner around the hallway and Reilyn about fell to the floor if it weren't for Chazz being behind him closely and caught her.
Jaden had a look of surprise "Chazz! good thing you were behind me" with a sweat drop. Chazz crossed his arms "Good thing I came along with you dorks, or else she'd probably end up with a head concussion".
Jaden just let a slight giggle escape from his mouth and spoke "Are you carrying her the rest of the way then?"
Chazz sighed "Sure why not....better than you dorks letting her hit the floor!"
Jaden just shook his head and Syrus sat they're quietly watching it all go down.
Once they reached the nurse's office, the nurse spoke softly "boys, what can I do for you? Who got hurt today?"
Before Jaden even spoke a word Chazz spoke up "Reilyn fainted in class and she hasn't woken up yet!"
The nurse had a slight panicked look upon her face and lead the boys with the unconscious girl to one of the resting beds. Chazz laid her down, and the nurse asked Jaden to go fetch some ice and asked Syrus to go fetch a warm wash rag.
The boys went on their way to gather the items as requested.
Chazz looked at the nurse and spoke "What about me? You trust those dorks getting that stuff?!"
The nurse looked at him with a soft smile and spoke softly "Actually yes, anyway we need someone to watch after her while I go check up on the other three students who aren't feeling so well."
Chazz sighed and grinned "Yeah true, who else would be better to watch over someone than those losers."
The nurse walked out of Reilyn's room to go check upon her other ill students. Chazz sat there, with his arms crossed trying to figure out what could be taking Jaden and Syrus so long. He sighed to himself and looked over at Reilyn, he then realized her eyes began to slightly flutter open.
Reilyn sat up slowly, checking her surroundings with a puzzled look, "Where...where am I? What happened?"
Chazz sat there with his arms still crossed not even giving a look at Reilyn, "You passed out in the middle of class."
Reilyn stood to her feet and was getting ready to exit through the door, until it swung open. She stood frozen realizing it was Jaden and Syrus. Jaden spoke "Reilyn!, What are you doing? You need to sit down!"
Reilyn sighed and stepped around the boys, once she stepped out the door she fell to the floor fainting again.
Chazz heard the thump and knew it had to be her, he could tell she wasn't well enough to be heading back to class, he noticed due to her flushed cheeks and the paleness in her skin tone.
Jaden and Syrus ran out the door and both carried her back and laid her upon the resting bed once again.
The nurse entered the door and noticed Reilyn was still laying upon the bed unconscious, but with the cool rag upon her burning forehead.
The nurse softly asked the boys "Has she woken up any at all?"
Chazz was the first to answer "She did once, then she ended up fainting on the floor."
The nurse gasped out of worry and took Reilyn's temperature and blood pressure. She noticed Reilyn's blood pressure was pretty high and spoke softly to the boys "It's rather some sort of stress.....her blood pressure is pretty high.....I'll be back in a half hour to check on her."
Jaden noticed how Chazz was just sitting there and spoke up "Chazz; you can head back if ya want, we'll watch over her from now on."
Chazz just looked at him and burst out loudly "NO! Because you dorks will fall asleep!"
Jaden let out a smirk "Okay okay fine, we'll let you watch over her; Were heading back to class so catch ya later!" and the two were out of the room.
Chazz sat there and started to flip through his deck, next thing he knew he was being bothered by yellow ojama's spirit;
"Hey boss! Watching over your girlfriend huh?"He stood up and yelled loudly
"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND!" and swatted yellow ojama away. He thought hard of what yellow ojama said and realized how much he cares for her, and how much he's impressed by her dueling skills; how she usually brings her ace monster; Dark Paladin out in first to third turn out.
His cheeks grew a little red and then he heard some rustling around and noticed Reilyn was waking again.
Reilyn's eyes fluttered opened and she sat up slowly, gazing around her surroundings once again and came to the realization; she was still in fact in the nurses office. She sighed and tried to sit up, which she successfully succeded in doing so.
She looked beside her bed and noticed Chazz still sitting in the chair, just in a daze.
She went to stand up and about fell, if it weren't for Chazz's quick movement to catch her; she would've hit the floor again.
For some reason she was really weak she just wasn't sure why, then she remembered she was a little upset earlier due to the one holding onto her.
She then sighed and hurriedly turned her face away from him and pushed him away and sat back down on the bed.
Chazz was wondering why she pushed him away, to be honest it kind of hurt him. He wouldn't admit it, but it did.
The nurse came walking in and noticed the raven haired girl had awoken and spoke softly "How are you feeling Miss Reilyn?"
Reilyn sighed and shrugged her shoulders "Just a little bit of a headache is all."
The nurse sighed and took her blood pressure once again and noticed it was still sort of high. Reilyn noticed how high her blood pressure was and put everything together now, the reason she fainted and such was the stress due to earlier.
The nurse spoke softly "Reilyn, have you been in any stress lately?"
Reilyn nodded her head answering yes. The nurse spoke "That could be the cause of this, your blood pressure could be getting to high and taking a toll on your body."
Reilyn sighed and covered her face with her hands.
The nurse spoke softly again "I'll go get some medicine for your headache I'll be back in just a few seconds"
Reilyn nodded and looked over at Chazz, still sitting in his chair with his eyes closed this time.
She sighed and thought to herself "He's so adorable just sitting there, he looks so peaceful and so sweet and innocent...." Reilyn admitted to a few people in the Duel Academy she crushes hard on Chazz.
One of the few was Alexis herself. That reminded her of the events from earlier and she then started to have tears uncontrollably fall from her eyes.
Chazz noticed this but shrugged it off and just sat there.
She went to stand up to go to the restroom to wipe away her tears, but then her legs from under her grew weak and she felt herself about to fall.
He hurriedly stood up and caught her.
He looked at her and spoke "What are you doing dork! Your still weak ya know!" He looked into her deep red eyes, noticing she was tearing up. Chazz wasn't sure what to do at that point, so he gave in and hugged her tightly.
Reilyn's cheeks grew about ten shades of red and she was speachless. Chazz mumbled something to her about being between the two of them, and that instead of Alexis being the apple of his eye, it's always her.
She couldn't believe what she heard and the next action is what surprised her mostly; he kissed her forehead and asked her what the stress was about.
Reilyn stood there in shock and answered just a few seconds later “Well......after someone brags about someone else....is all” and her face growing ten shades of red.
Chazz just sat there and laughed it off “Well, I do like Alexis, although she's not like another I like; one who can pull her ace magician out in two turns” and winked at her cutely. Reilyn just smiled and blushed all at once and held onto him tightly. After all of this confession to say the least; she was indeed feeling a lot better.
