Sigmund was my first pet from the Dream Realm. I felt like being silly that day, so I asked the shop owner to give him a hot pink and lime green color scheme. The colors were so outrageous and the Idle Thought line art was so irresistibly cute that I decided he needed a silly name, too, so I named him after...Sigmund Freud!
Sigmund shares almost nothing in common with his namesake, other than the fact that it is difficult to take him seriously. Sigmund is actually a genius amoung Idle Thoughts, since most of them cannot even send simple emotions, much less mindspeak to their owners. Although his vocabulary and grammar skills are crude, he generally manages to communicate successfully with those around him. When Jedi's egg appeared, he decided to take on the role of surrogate "mommy" to the Dream.
