A man will want to leave a mark
to let the world know of him
On a quest he will embark
but never to return.
He hikes for miles and walks for moons
Mother Nature halts for none
He sees the tallest mountain, and soon
he will climb it, to the sun.
The bitter cold bites at his cheeks
its vicious winds a whip
A blizzard cries onto his face
with that do his hands slip.
As he falls, the man is screaming
yet no one even listens
For this man had left one mark;
on the ground, where his blood glistens.
