The story takes place at the Lilian High School for girls, proud of its long tradition and elegant school style. There is a system called "sisters",by giving their rosaries the senior students take 'petite soeurs' (little sisters) from the junior students to guide them.
The main character is Yumi Fukuzawa. She has just started her 1st year of senior high at Lillian Academy. Yumi was chosen to become petit soeur to Sachiko, a junior member of the student council. Yumi doesn't know what to do, since Sachiko is kinda the opposite to her. Sachiko is elegant, beautiful and refined, while Yumi is an ordinary girl. She admires Sachiko a lot and soon she will begin to have feelings for her.
This Anime is VERY shoujo-Ai! I pretty much enjoyed the whole thing except...The last few episodes of Maria-Sama Ga Miteru Spring ((The second Season)).
