Ah!
I'm progressing so well with my quest to be the ultimate trainer!
So, my starting pokemon was Bulbasaur, since they are dinosaurs with plants on their backs; what could be cooler? He is doing exceptionally well, so much that I have to neglect him to get my other ones raised properly. I caught quite a few since I left home, even without evolutions (more on that later), my 'dex is above 14. whee
I don't quite remember my first. Was it Rattata? Pidgey? Does it even matter? Everyone is above level 10 now; we take on almost all trainers without much sweat. After I caught those two cuties, I caught a Pikachu, Caterpie and Weedle in the Viridian Forest. I trained my Caterpie because I heard they evolved into something beautiful; and sure enough he became a Butterfree. My butterkinns can decimate the Bug Catchers I keep running into, as well as the random girls and other silly things; piff! Psychic attacks are even WEAK to bug!! I haven't trained my Weedle yet, I should probably do that. My Pikachu is cute and loveable, she is always trying her best to help even with her relaxed nature - nothing phases her! Even though the gym is her weakness, she assisted as a cheerleader to the two I was using to defeat them - Mankey and Bulbasaur. My Mankey goes against his nature and is rather mild in his behavior, I suppose I'm lucky. I've heard tales of Mankeys even going so far to attack their own trainers!! Terrible...
After defeating Brock and gaining his badge I traveled down Route 3. So many trainers there!! At least most of them were incredibly easy to fight; the only reason I had to go to the Pokemon center was because they were tired of doing the same weak attack (I went easy on these ones - they're like ten - I'd hate to cause someone to cry..) over and over. After all the trainers there was this lovely field where I caught several neat pokes; Spearow, Jigglypuff, and both genders of Nidorans. A pokecenter outside the cave was a wonderful idea, I really must figure out who decided to build it because it was pure genius.. I healed a bit and decided to make my Nidorans evolve. I heard their evolutions were even cooler than themselves so I went ahead and did it. They were amazing against the many Zubats flying around the cave, being poison-types the bug move that Zubat adores using didn't work. I, of course, caught a Zubat to add to my colleciton. Soon the Nidos learned to kick and that fighting move was very useful versus the random Geodudes I'd run into! Soon enough, they evolved into Nidorina and Nidorino, such cuties. Maybe someday I'll poke them with radioactive moonstones and gain their final forms but I'm not sure ... stones are rare, and other things might be affected more so...
Ah well. I found Clefairy too! I'm trying to catch a female one so I can make some babies, my aunt used to tell me stories of her childhood herd of Cleffas and I really want to experience that cuteness.
My pokedex? Busting at the seams cool
This is Megen, signing off. ♥
