A female figure that looked to be about 18 walked through InuYasha's Forest among the tree trunks at the bottom. Her outline became golden when she went under a few of the trees that had the light shining on through the area, making her seem as a spirit. To anyone, she would seem such a thing, for she wasn't even alive at this time, just a wandering soul lost in the world of living.
Her pale skin shone in the sunlight, as for she was made of clay, nothing more. Her long, raven black hair, tied behind her head loosely by a white piece of clothe, flowed silently behind her, as for two strands hanging loose that rested upon her shoulders on each side, her bangs tickling her forehead as the wind played with them. Her bangs hid her half way shut chocolate brown hues as she looked ahead of the path in front of her. It seemed as if they would go on forever, but she would most likely take it to the end.
Her clothing waved with the melody of the wind, her long, white sleeves flowed around her arms, as they went over her pale hands as well, which contained a bow in her left hand, and nothing among the right. Her white shirt, loosely upon her fragile body, was tucked in under the red waist tie of her baggy priestess pants. Two slits upon the sides of her hips showed the white of her shirt as well. Her pants sagged down to her feet, only letting them see the front part of her feet. Upon her feet is wooden sandals, making the slight 'pat pat' noise upon the ground as each step she took was soft and gentle.
Upon her back, hidden by the loose pony tail of her hair, was a quiver with about twenty arrows inside of it, the quiver strapped to her back by a thick string so it would not break easily. She used these arrows combined with her own priestess powers to send of the arrow she has most likely been known for. The Sacred Arrow. She also had other priestess powers except that. For instance, her priestess orb, where she concentrates all of her power to her hand to stand shocks to her opponent as she once did to InuYasha after she had been resurrected by the witch that stole half of Kagome's soul for hers. As well as deflection, where her whole body is engulfed with her priestess power, able to cancel out magic attacks that are weak, not like the Wind Scar or any real weapon.
Among her body is her soul collectors. A few were left from Mt. Hakurei, but still. They came in slowly and let souls of dead women from villages drop into her body, for she needed them to keep alive. If she doesn't get any other souls, she most likely would die. This wasn't her normal way of life as in the past when she loved InuYasha, but now this is what she considered normal, no matter what anyone said or did to her.
An emotionless look was upon her face, as she was sensing for the incarnations of Naraku, and also, Naraku himself, thinking that maybe he was still alive, and there could be a chance. She didn't want to risk any surprise attacks from him, which is why she had her powers set to find the rest of his group, wanting to get rid of them from this time of the world so she would most likely be able to sleep peacefully among the dead as she did for the fifty long years that she had been dead from pinning InuYasha to the Sacred Tree. Anyway, she would have a peaceful death as she foresaw before she died from the one she loved. Even though it was Naraku who had killed her. Now it was time for payback for taking away the life she could've had.
Her Shikigami Kocho and Asuka were also at her side as she walked, her body had been recovered by Kagome after they had told Kagome what to do. She sighed slightly as she looked at the two of them by her side, them walking patiently and silently, not going to cause any harm to their master, and always going to follow her wherever she went, which is the way Kikyou usually liked it.
She looked back ahead of her, her eyes looking a bit, fatigued, yet they were not. She had started to think about the past, on how her journey had started on this trip of defeating Naraku, and yet she couldn't accept it for some reason, but..why couldn't she? Did she not want to believe that Naraku had made them think they betrayed each other...but, why wouldn't she? He was evil and it was and still is her duty to defeat such a monster.
Her mind started to wander back to the past, to where she was sitting upon the grass, InuYasha by her side, a few more images of them together coming to her once more. She then thought of how they first met. He was going after the Shikon no Tama. She thought it was quite interesting at first how he would never give up, no matter how many times she had defeated him, pinning him to the tree just by his clothes and not by his flesh.
She was in the position that she had just fired off her arrow, her bow still faced in his direction as InuYasha was upon the tree, three arrows in his clothe which kept him up upon it, his arms hanging over the stem of the arrows. 'Why don't you just finish me off like you do with the others!?' He yelled at her, angry that he couldn't get the jewel, and angry that she wouldn't just kill him like all of the other greedy demons that wished for the power of the Jewel of Four Souls.
She had a grin upon her face. 'It's not that simple..you see, I know you are no threat..' She said in a calm voice, full of mysteriousness and kindness. She walked over to him, taking the arrows out of his clothes, which let him drop to the floor, him landing upon his feet as he stood up completely after he was standing firm upon the hard ground. She placed the arrows in her quiver upon her back, held by that thick string that she still has today. She smiled slightly as she walked over to the grassy hill and sit upon it cross legged, InuYasha coming over as well, sitting down by the one he would watch every day.
'InuYasha..do you know what would happen if this jewel would disappear?' She asked him kindly as she looked at himwith hoping eyes, her plan formulating in her head, and hopfully InuYasha would take it. 'No..what?' He asked in a confused voice, wondering what this unpredictable priestess was thinking about. 'If this Jewel should disappear, I could live a life of a normal woman. You see, my duty is to protect this jewel, and if someone used it for a pure reason, it would ceise to exist, and I could finally live normally..' She said softly as the wind picked up her hair and flew it to the right of her, InuYasha's hair doing the same.
'InuYasha..if you take this jewel and wish yourself human, it would disappear..we could live together..' She said as she looked back to him, giving him the smile of lightness. His mind pondered this idea, soon accepting it, wishing to live with the one he loved. She got up, he did as well as they made a plan to meet so she could pass the jewel to him.
Everything was going well, until the day they planned to meet. She stood in an empty space where the trees didn't reach into. The sun hit her skin as she waited for InuYasha to show up, the Sacred Jewel in her hand. She heard the rustling of the grass where footsteps could be heard behind her, and before she knew it, she was struck down. 'Ah..' She yelled lightly, in the pain of her shoulder being cut by sharp claws. The jewel fell at least three feet before her as a male picked up the jewel. It was InuYasha! or so she thought. He said the jewel would be great to his powers and walked away, leaving her to die.
InuYasha, or the imposter, placed the jewel in the sacred holder, now InuYasha attempting to steal it, thinking Kikyou had betrayed him, which was completely not true. He dove in, grabbing the jewel and dodging all the bullets, leaving an explosion upon his wake, soon running to escape with the jewel to become a full fledged demon. Just as he jumped in front of a tree, he could hear the yell of an angry person, someone who knew very well. 'InuYasha!' Kikyou yelled, sending an arrow flying at his heart, pinning him to the tree and making him drop the sacred jewel.
Kikyou was proud that she had stopped the one she loved from taking the Jewel, but sadly, that was all that she could do, as she fell down after getting the jewel and died, the blood rushing from her shoulder had killed her, for it was to much for her to handle. Her sister, Kaede, was upset about her eldest sisters death, but would carry on for the years to come until her resurection.
Later on, Kikyou became alive once more, taking half of Kagome's soul, her reincarnation. A witch brought her back with holy soil and holy bones, as well as her ashes. She saw InuYasha, her soul filled with hate, thinking he had betrayed her, yet he did not. The wound that Naraku had inflicted upon her 50 long years ago had reappeared, as she blamed InuYasha, going to shoot him down once more, but right as then, Kagome's body had recalled almost all of her spirit back. This lead to Kikyou running around the corner to try and escape, which made her slip and fall. InuYasha tried to save her, but there was nothing he could do.
'I can not rest until I see you dead!' She yelled, shocking him as he then let go, her falling down into a canyon, InuYasha thinking she was dead once more. But, she soon found him once more, taking him to hell with her, or at least almost, for he thought Kagome was more important. Now she had competition for the one she loved, and she wouldn't let Kagome, her Reincarnation, take InuYasha from her, no matter what. Kikyou soon found herself upon Mt. Hakurei, where she had found her fate once more, as Naraku threw her into a pit of Miasma, but, sicne her body was made of Holy soil and holy bones, she did not dissolve, and Kagome had saved her, so she could live once more.
She shook her head. Yes, this was her past, the history she followed to where she was today, this is how she was here, searching for the pieces that kept the queen's soul away from harming others. She swore she would never let anything happen to the inoccent again, no matter what. "I will get you, Naraku," She said in a dark voice to herself.
A girl about the age of 18 walked through the forest known as InuYasha, the trees swaying in the breeze of the day as the rays of light shot through the empty spaces of the leaves, hitting her lightly tanned skin here and there. The sun also reflected off of her hair, which had a slight tint of brown in it, as it could be seen from a close distance, but not from afar, as hair looked like hair at a distance.
Her hair style was in a down position, but instead of completely down, it was cut off by a white strand of clothe, which made a thick strand of hair go down the rest of her back to her lower back, her bangs tickling her forehead as she gave a slight giggle as she closed her chocolate brown eyes, which had pink eye shadow above them, which matched her personality greatly, as it showed kindness, yet a sense of being stern when needed be.
Her outfit consisted of a pink kimono that was tied by a green skirt that covered the bottom half, a dark purple bag that was held by her hands behind her, as well as brown, wooden sandals. Her Hiraiutso was on her back as well, as this was her main weapon, for yes, she was a Demon Slayer, one of the last few from her village after the tragedy that she wished not to remember, yet had to live with for the rest of her life until the end of her days.
Her eye's wavered a bit, knowing that no one was there by her side as she walked down this lonely path looking for her friends. Tears started to swell up in her eyes as she remembered her dead brother, who wasn't so dead now. It was a musky day, windy as well, as her and the rest of the village of Demon Slayers were following the orders of the young lord who had hired them, who just turned out to be the worst thing that could come into her life, Naraku.
They had defeated the demon, but her brother had gotten controlled by the lord's father, who had attached a spider to her young brother's neck and controlled him to kill her father, as well as the rest of her friends in the village. She had looked at her brother with hopful eyes that this was just a dream, but instead, his weapon lunched at her and hit her in the shoulder. The lord soon spoke up to his soilders, the words burning in her heart as she listened without them knowing.
'Kill them! They are posessed by the demon!' He shouted out as a volley of arrows was sent after Kohaku, hitting him in the chest and killing him instantly. 'No!' She yelled, tears in her eyes as she ran after her brother, him lying dead and bleeding upon the floor, and soon, another volley of arrows heading right after her, hitting her in the back to where she fell down upon her stomach, not killed exactly yet. She looked up, the tears still in her eyes as she crawled over to her dead brother. 'Don't worry, Kohaku..I'm coming after you..you're not alone...' She said, soon letting her head hit the ground by her brother, her body going limp.
When she finally woke up, she was in a patch of dirt, soon thrusting her body upward into a sitting position, she choked a few times, coughing from fresh air and more oxygen. She looked around to see the Lord of the castle on the step. Before she could say anything, she had fainted, and when waking up once more, she found herself in the castle in a bed, cleaned up and her wounds dressed. She sat up and went to talk to the Lord. There, she found him sitting, as she talked to him in a harsh tone. He had put rumors into her head that InuYasha was the one who killed her brother and her village, and now she was destined to kill the one called InuYasha.
She set out looking for him, soon finding him and attacking him, starting a battle. This was how her journey had began with such people that she normally would not have met, now resulting in her having new friends and a new love, now helping them on their own quest to defeat Naraku, as now she had a true purpose to go after him.
She then blinked, coming back to the past as the tears fell to the ground, her hands going up and wiping them away from her face, Kirara, her faithful pet cat demon, rubbing her head upon the young girls face as she soon flashed a smile at the neko demon's soft fur and rythem of purring. "Oh, Kirara..you cheer me up so greatly when no one else is here.." She said in a giggly voice, soon letting her mind set upon her brother, who was now alive and under control by Naraku, the one who had killed him. "Don't worry, Kohaku..i'll free you from that spell and we can be with each other once more, just like we were when we were children.." she said in a low voice, heaving a sigh as she looked down.
Her journey would continue as soon as she found her friends once more, which would hopfully be soon, for she had been wandering for hours since she had to fix her Hiraikutso from another damaging battle, and had to give it immediate attention, so it would not snap in half, since that was the last thing she would want. She soon heaved in a huge breath and yelled, "InuYasha! Kagome! Miroku!Shippou!Where are you?" She called out, hoping to hear a respond to them soon. "Oh well, they'll show up eventually, right, Kirara?" She asked to her pet Neko as she looked over to her with a smile, soon hearing a small meow from the cat as she continued to walk along the trail.
Silence, peace, prosperity. A young girl of 18 walked silently among the trees in InuYasha's forest, her eyes zoneing out into nothing, as her hair was being tampered with by the cooling hands of the breeze, her bangs tickling her forehead as her hands did not move to itch it, them clamped down in front of her body, as she always would keep them when she wandered around, lonely at times like this, her head hanging low as her mind raced with thoughts.
The sun made her black hair with a blue tint, also up in a pony tail, shimmer, the sun also heating up her back, which was covered by a white priestess shirt with blue outlinings. Her pants consisted of light blue priestess pants, not red like ordinary ones. This was similar to the same outfit her mother had worn, except her mother had worn darker blues rather than lighter, but of course, she wasn't going to mimick everything her mother had done in her lifetime.
She let her eyes come back to reality, her face looking sad upon leaving her wonderful world. Her thoughts had been upon her mother, her eyes looking up into the deep blue sky, clouds passing through her vision as a few tears started to collect in the corners, soon consuming her whole eyes, them shutting and letting the tears fall down her face and onto her shirt, some hitting the ground making small dots of wetness to be seen. "Why..why did you have to leave me, mother?" She asked herself in a wavered voice, saddness now consuming her whole body and emotions.
She could never keep her thoughts off of that frightful day, her mind retracing the horror that she felt as the demon attacked their village for no apparent reason. She had been given the Jewel Shards to protect. It was her duty, and she planned on doing so. After that day, a demon had attacked their villages, as she was told to run off into the forest, so no one would be able to snatch the wonderous shards of beauty, the ones that made up the Shikon Jewel. She heard the scream of terrors and death that had flooded into her ears, her eyes's shutting tightly.
She had wanted to turn back and try and help her beloved mother and friends, but she couldn't. She had to keep her duty alive, and if she was dead, that would never happen. She had kept a safe distance from the village, staying in the forest as she wandered, thinking of how her mother could still be alive, maybe her mother had excerised the demon away from the village, getting rid of all of it's demonic power! With that thought, she smiled, soon turning and heading back. It had been a full day now, and she did assume it was safe for her to see how the village had turned out.
She ran as fast as her legs could carry her in the baggy light blue pants, soon stopping as her face went into shock, seeing burnt down villages, as well as blood spilt upon the ground everywhere. 'N-No!' She said, tears forming in her eyes. She tried to hide them, not wanting to show a demon passing by how weak she was. She looked through the death's of her village, her friends, and soon laid eyes upon her mother, motionless. Her heart stopped, then she found the strength to run over and kneel by her mother, lifting her upon her lap. 'Mother..' she said softly as she saw the lifelessness in her mother's eyes, soon letting her head fall onto her mother's chest and cry out as much as she could.
By the time she was done, she had gotten up and started a burial ground, not wishing to leave a village unburried, for fear of man eating demons who would find this a nice meal. She had dug the proper ammount of holes, and the proper amount of depth for each one, soon placing her comrades inside them, burrying them until there was a perfect burial ground. She had done this until every last person was burried, even her mother. After that, she had gathered flowers, placing them upon each grave site, praying for each one, especailly for her own mother.
She shook her head, not wishing to think of anymore of the pain of loss in her heart. "I will never forget you all.." She said to herself, wiping the tears away as the sterness in her voice came back, pain in her heart going away now, as she thought of looking for the group that was in search for the Jewel Shards. This was her duty now, and no matter how hard she tried, she would find them, and help them along on their journey, for revenge for her village, and the good of others.

I remind you, this is ALL one post! This is when I truly try! Kikyou is the person who I can get the longest post from, for I know a lot about her! So feel free to ask and I'll join!
Oh! And please comment on what you think about my post! Thanks!
