my tears knew that you would come for me early in the day when i least expected it, my tears saw you sitting on that couch... with your legs bent and your voice shaking with your hands resting and your eyes avoiding mines, my tears knew that they would mock me they would make me feel crazy make me feel foolish, my tears knew what the future held so many lonely nights and weary mornings, my tears knew about that sad phone call when i reached out to a friend and all i got was someone who laughed at me and scoffed, my tears knew how it made me feel when they said i was selfish and immature, my tears knew that no one cared that no one would understand or lend me a hand , my tears knew that i would stop caring and my tears knew that one day i would stop caring , my tears knew that others had already hurt me and others had already cursed me.
