They traveled through the mountain without much trouble and gave them the talk along the way. Nearing the ruins of Zanarkand, they stopped some ways past the Fayth Scar
Koneko~The wall looks irregular
KIba~Everything has had a story so far. I wouldn’t be surprised
Ann~There used to be fayths along that wall. They kept Dream Zanarkand alive. They also had something to do with Sin, but I don’t remember much of how it tied together.
Tenka~Who would know?
Ann~Grandpa for sure. Maybe Jecht and Tidus when we see them again.
Reiketsu~Hey, what’s going on over there?
They looked at where he pointed and saw people passing before disappearing
Ann~There’s a lot of pyreflies as you can see, so a lot of memories are here. This is the last leg of the pilgrimage before fighting Sin. A lot of teams had to strengthen their resolve or turn back. Yuna’s prilgrimage was tough, and the Guado going after them didn’t help
Reiketsu~And Grandpa?
Ann~He didn’t talk about his experience much. The bit he did share was in the temple of the Final Aeon.
Koneko~Hey, is that one Grandpa?!
They saw a group of three walk by, one with a red coat tied closed at the waist and one sleeve worn
Ann~Yeah, with Jecht and Lord Braska. This didn’t show when I came
Ann went to follow the three, and the family followed her
Kiba~Why the sudden interest?
Ann~I didn’t know a lot about Lord Braska, and I want to know how inexperienced Dad really was. Jecht says he wasn’t always cynical
Reiketsu~I thought you didn’t trust him?
Ann~I can trust him when I’m nice. He doesn’t trust me when I’m nice, so he does what I say
Tenka~*sigh* How long does the memories last?
Ann~Not long half the time. I can’t ontrol the pyreflies very well to make them continue.
Kiba~Is it because Auron is an unsent?
Ann~I think so. He just does things
Tenka~Hehehe you make it sound like anything that happened is his fault
Ann~Yeah. Because if it isn’t me, it is his fault. Huh, I think it’s because it is his fault it was never mine…
Kiba~Now you’re confusing them
Ann~Hehe I mean that since he always managed to stop me before it got bad, I was never to blame.
The triplets nodded
Koneko~oh…They’re gone…
Ann~Damn…Oh well. We can rest here. We’re not yet in the ruins, and it’s more dangerous to stop there if we don’t get to the temple
Reiletsu~It’s still bright though. Will we really not get to the temple?
Ann~There’s a lot of debris to climb over. If things are the same, it’ll take a couple hours. I honestly doubt that they would rebuild Zanarkand. It’s so far from everywhere else.
Tenka~That is true.
Koneko~And if it has changed, we’ll know when it gets dark because then we’ll see lights from there. It’s supposed to be a big city with lots of light right?
Ann~Also true. Go find a nice spot so you can sleep
Reiketsu~But we’ll still be up at the same time
Ann~So going to bed early is like sleeping in.
Reiketsu~*sigh* Sadly that makes sense…
He and his siblings wandered around to find a flat area to set up camp
Kiba~Did you notice things?
Ann~Yeah. That memory of them showed them moving differently…I’m hoping that the memory will continue after the kids go to sleep. If my suspicions are true, they shouldn’t see it.
Kiba~Are you implying they got it on?
Ann~Yeah. Auron always had sake on him for his overkill moves. So, I wouldn’t be surprised if they got drunk and got horny
Kiba chuckled~Okay. Get some rest while you can incase something happens later
Ann~Thanks hun

Later that night, while everyone was asleep, the memory continued from before. Ann got up to follow but made sure to keep her family in sight.

Auron, Jecht, and Braska sat together passing around Auron’s jug
Braska~Are you sure we should allow Jecht to drink?
Auron~The worst he can do is streak
Jecht~Like I’d do it infront of you two
Auron~You’d do anything when you’re drunk
Jecht~I know where to draw the line. I won’t do anything gay with you
Auron~I bet you will if you drink enough
Jecht~So you want me to get drunk?
Braska~I don’t think we should get drunk. We’re supposed to get the Final Aeon tomorrow
Jecht~You don’t have to be a stiff like Auron
Auron~I’m not always a stiff
Jecht~Sure you’re not
Auron~I guess you’re right. How else can I bang my wife?
Jecht~You made a d**k joke?!
Braska laughed and took a sip
Jecht~Who are you?
He grabbed at Auron’s face, but he pushed the older man off
Auron~I’m not always serious
Jecht~Could’ve fooled me.
Braska~Auron’s fun when he wants to be. Although he cuddles more than chase Yuna
Auron~My lord!
Jecht laughed
Braska~She sleeps so well with you. More than me…
He pouted and took another sip before Jecht took the drink
Auron~The two of you are going to drink it all before I get any
Without missing a beat, Jecht pulled him into a kiss, passing what he had drank to him
Jecht~If that’s how you kiss, I’m surprised you even had your wife long enough to have a kid
Auron~b*****d. I’m still better than you
He pulled Jecht back and pushed him to the ground
Braska~G-guys?...
He wimpered a bit as his guardians made out on the ground. He sighed and tried to take of his own needs before Auron pulled him with them. The memory faded away when they started to undress. Ann smirked and made her way back and slowly woke Kiba
Kiba~Yeah? Huh? My turn?
Ann~Yeah. Need a few minutes?
Kiba~No, I’m awake. Go sleep for the rest of the night.
He gave her a kiss as they switched places

The following morning, they got up at the normal time and started to get breakfast going
Kiba~Kids are good?
Reiketsu~Lots of gravel…it sucked…
Ann~Yeah, but you slept through the night
Tenka~That doesn’t mean comfort either
Ann~It was enough to sleep though
Koneko~Sadly Mom’s right. Remember when we were by the riverbed with rocks?
They grumbled in agreement
Ann~The temple is just a few hours from here. After that we’ll go wherever you wanna go
Reiketsu~Is there any place that is crazy strong?
Ann~Omega Dungeon. You’re not ready uet. Trust me. Grandpa took me and it was s**t to get through one fiend
Tenka~That bad?
Ann~I didn’t want to go alone. Even after our three years here.
Koneko~That’s tough
Kiba~Eat up before breakfast gets cold. You can get something more filling later

Koneko~You weren’t kidding about the ruins
Kiba~I’m glad the village isn’t like this. Then again, I don’t think think the fox managed this either.
Reiketsu~Honestly, the fiends and zombies are worse
Tenka~Yeah. I keep forgetting to use Holy water before anything else
Ann~Which is why I keep telling you to pick someone as the designated healer
They spent the whole day exploring the ruins. By eavening they got to the temple and made their way to one of the rooms
Koneko~Are we staying the night?
Ann~Only if you want to stay longer. There’s a sphere around here to call the Gullwings
Reiketsu~Bed
Ann~okay. Stay here. The temple is big when you go past the cloister of trials
She left the room
