chapter 3

i began to slow down and thumped my feet on a branch. completely stoping me. i sniffed the air, smelling something. "oh my, whats that smell?" when orochimaru and kakashi caught up to me, they didnt notice anything. "whats wrong gage?" orochimaru said. "i smell something... it smells, like blood!" i said. "what are you talking about, theres noth..." he stopped. looked up... and his eyes went blank. he fell forwared and smashed his face in the branch. he fell of and went hurdeling down. with my sharp instincts, i pushed off the branch and caught kakashi. on his back was a sleeper tag. "dang it!" i yelled. i sat him on the branch and jumped higher into the tree. i hoped i could see the people who set the tag. 5 seconds, i didnt see a thing. 10 seconds, still nothing. 15 seconds, about 20 feet away a branch rustled. "got him" i wispered to my self. i pulled out a bomb tag and a kunai. i threw it at the branch and i heard a thump. i jumped back to escape the explosion... BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!! the entire tree blew into smoke and fire. smiling menacingly i didnt want to check to make sure he was dead. i was pretty sure he was dead. what a bad mistake. when i got back to orochimaru kakashi was back to normal. "why are we the big target in here?" i chuckled. "gage, just be quiet" kakashi snarled. "well, at least the ninja are dead... i think. ok, lets just go to the tower, im done here ok? this is just a waste of time. every one here are just amatures." so all three of us jumped threw the trees to the tower. we walked through thje doors and sleeped on the ground for morning. in the morning, the test will be over, and we can finaly rest. my eyes closed slowely and i drifted to sleep dreaming of become the hokage i am today.
