I think maybe I posted about him ONCE in this thing, but that was like last year or something. Crazy Google.
Grammar Curiosity: Should it be Why the ******** ARE google ads showing "Terry Pratchett"? instead of "is"? The reason I put "is" is because I am thinking of Google Ads as one entity, like the one program that they have that decides what ads are going to be displayed on a page. (I assume it's just one program.)

But some people might say "are" because they might refer to each ad as a different entity. Where these TWO ads both say "Terry Pratchett". So some people might say, "Google Ads ARE advertising Terry Pratchett".
Y'know, like, "Girl Scouts (the girls) are selling cookies" vs. "Girl Scouts (the organization) is selling cookies"
