I spent today wandering around and figuring out ways to make some money. I found out that there are a few things that you can do. I'll list them for my own use and to give any newbies wondering the same thing some tips.

1: looking in trees, bushes, and rocks in towns. it might not produce much, but those numbers add up after a while.

2: collecting trash and exchanging it at gambino hat rack. the things you can exchange for are actually wotrh something, though often times not much.

3: exchanging fish with old man logan at the ole fishing hole. for a cost of 25gg, you can buy some cheap bait. you might not catch much, but you can swap out what you have when you get enough.

4: exchanging bugs with moira at durem depot. you can catch bugs for free. get enough and swap em for something you can sell.

5: trading things for gold. you never know who's gonna want what, and you may be able to talk them into making you a small profit. of course, you need the 500gg to buy the trader's pass before you can do any trading at all...

6: selling things in the marketplace. you need to buy a vendor's pass first, and i'm not sure how much that is, but this is the most common way to make some cash.

7: doing things in the forums. believe it or not, answering polls and posting in the forums makes you some money. This is a big advantage to anybody with an opinion about anything.

8: the gambler routine. forget buying tokens at jacked up prices in the marketplace. head to gambino island through the map and buy em for 1gg per token in the casino. then just play cards or slots and cash out your winnings every so often. swap the tickets for prizes and sell the prizes. this may be more for the lucky people who can buy 10 tokens and walk out with 10,000.
