a very, very old poem i wrote when i was 12. the character I wrote about here has not changed much over the years... though the story has.
you cannot fight your destiny.
it is a scroll that has already been written in ink.
no eraser can spirit away the words of your future...
dont you see?
I am doomed to die.
my body is not mine anymore. my soul, even, is becoming like his.
he will take me and deliver me to the hell he escaped.
no one can save me... I try to save myself but I know I am not strong enough. no matter how hard I try I cannot fight it.
but her...
there is one who can save me, but does she exist?
she looks neither human nor barbarian, clothed in robes dyed red by my own blood.
she will come from the river and bring life to a dead world of hate.
in her departure her tears will bring new life to the forest of gods.
is this prophesy true? is this girl the one I must find? is it the girl who has turned against me?
or is it the girl who longs for her home?
it is one of you... I can feel it pulsing through each and every one of these accursed veins.
who are you, girl of destiny? where are you?
cant you see you are the only one who can save me?
come out and find me!
dont leave this prophesy undone!
dont leave me to die!

Mah Stuff
