My summer has been nothing special. Absolutely nothing worth remembering.
My b-day was June 29. I had to go to my foster great-grandmother's funeral on that day. Nothing was sweet about my Sweet 16.
I had no b-day party. And I'm debating whether to have one at all. The summer's almost over and I see no reason to have one.
My 4th of July wasn't anything special either. My mom and step-dad didn't bother with fireworks and we didn't have a BBQ or anything like that.
If anything it was the worst summer of my life. I was looking forward to my sweet 16, but all my friends had money and decided to make memories.
I am not mad at my friends. I so happy that they had great summer and got to see their far-off loved ones and spend time with their families. I hope they can forgive for suffering one of the Seven Deadly Sins; Envy.
It's summers like this that in inforce my enjoyment during the school year.
