Okay, some news about my surgery!

I got a letter classing me as 'Categery 2, semi-urgant.'... and that the operation was preferable within 90 days. So I checked the website. (I was told 5-9 year wait!) And it said that 80% of the people classed as that were seen within 90 days.

Omg. OH. MY. GAWD.

O_O When I talked to people who'd had it, they said they only had to wait 4-7 months till they got this form. So perhaps I was wrongly informed! But oh my, I had mentally prepared myself to wait years for this, prepared my mind to withhold excitement and nerves and let them out slowly... this was just a huge 'SLAP. You're on the list, it's happening!'

So that may mean I'll have the operation before Christmas at the most, and at the least, sometime in the next 90 days...

Well. I did tell the surgan that I'd have loved to have it for my 21st, and my 21st is October 1st.

Holy crap. I can't stop shaking with nerves and excitement and happiness and fright and... it's really happening!
