None of us know much about his past as he is the youngest survivor in our Colony just around his late teen years?
......Id hazard a guess he's 17 or 18 or so, as he was as little as we know a orphan that miraculously survived the war an was found an adopted by Ella in her travels before she made it to our Colony and joined us.
An all she knows or could manage to communicate with him, was to hear him say his own name.
He is quite an speaks so rarely you would think he was "Mute" from birth, but he does nod his head an makes motions for "Yes" an "No" an he can communicate at least on a basic level.
His story must have be a Heart-Achingly awful ordeal to endure at so young an age. Hopefully he understands we are all here for him if he needs us especially Ella his adopted mom.
She loves him so much she would be easily mistaken for his mother, though she tries not to be to hard on him an often is busy with everyone here as she helps out with what she can from helping Tex-Mex to helping the next survivor Ill mention.

Gina is our Colony's "Green Thumb" she is a farm girl from out west but in the old "Bread Basket" region of the US where all the grains and many crops were grown in the post-war an past times.
She is close to Ella's age in her 20's an managed to find a shelter like the few lucky ones though she has said both her parents died during the war leaving her to fend for herself in her teens.
Her father was a Marine an was a casualty of the mideast front of the war. Her mother died as she helped defended the shelter they and countless others had been staying in from war machines as everyone that could escaped an ran and hid.
Gina is amazing with any green living thing, its almost as if she can talk to plants an hear them talking back. Of course she was instrumental in beginning an completing the roof garden an helping figure out water consumption for the garden an all of us as we started out.
But then again like everyone here we pitch in an do what we have to as a Colony to survive an build, grow an nurture what we have....to survive out here.
