as i see it is inevitable that our society will start a nuclear war.
what i have attempted to predict is where the nukes will land in the united states and the effect this would have on our society.
all i am predicting are five strikes on us soil.
now this may not be accurate compared to the number of nukes on the planet but theres are the most likely areas to get hit.
1)new york. largest population center in the united states and hub of many major us organizations
2) washington D.C.. hub of our goverment and military.
3) san francisco/los angelos. another major hub an home to most of out technology companies.
4)chicago. another major population center and hub of industry.
5)phillidelphia. major population center and home to many landmarks.

now after these strikes are over what will likey set in is shock. what americans are left with stare at thier tvs as the remaining media leaps onto the story.


after that the scramble will begin. most likely the scramble will have begun by the time the miltary announced the incoming nukes but nevertheless the looting will have started quickly as people rushed out to steal anyhting of value left.
after that everyone will try to take canned goods and any survival gear they can find.
bicycles will be looted as well as any self powered vehicles.
during this time anyone who owns a gun would have begun hording goods and gangs would form.
after the perishables and livestock are gone and canned food is the only stuff left the gang phase would begin.
these gangs would weaken once the supply of bullets ran out.
ultimatly the gang rule could only last as long as the canned food lasts.
givin the fact thaat these gangs would most consume the canned goods quickly this phase would be brief.

after the gang rule phase was over and the canned good supply had dried up farming commmunities would form.
these commmunities would most likely be lead by warriors who could fend off attacks coming from other communities.
in other words the fuedal system woudl be used again as suburban land was converted to farmlands to sustain the communities.

this scenario does not add foreing aid into the mix because most of the countries in the world would have been attacked too and would naturaly be more concerend about their own citizens.

this scenario is one of many possibilites of what could occur after a series of nuclear strikes on US soil.
the main points though are this:
1)our goverment would be crippled and the police would not operate on the level needed to maintain control of the population
2)what resoures we have would be consumed far to quickly
3)most of the population has no idea how to sustain themselves for any period of time without a supermarket or food seller nearby.
4) most of the population would die of starvation due to a lack of preparation and planning on the goverment's and thier own part.
5) america is a doomed nation that will eventualy fall because of the decadent lifestyle perpetuated by its citizens.
6) man is a doomed species thanks to his fasination with powerful weapons and penchant for acquiring more territory.
7) even if nuclear warfare is used the planet would survive and life would re-evole again.
8') humanity will start a nuclear war at some point in the future. that is inevitable along with our collapse as a species
