I am sorry it has taken so long for me to write, however our net wasn't working and I did get hired in the camps and was gone for about 3 weeks working.

Yay! I got hired!

Being a second cook is a lot more laxed then I thought it would be. Those 12 hours your paid for are not usually how much you really work. My day is usually:
5:30am-- Get up, shower and dig into the coffee
6:00am-- Do whatever dishes are there and begin my prep for the day, morning rig box, lunch trays, 2 salads... and whatever else needs to be done.

I do that until I am done... then I sit, smoke and watch tv until 11:30am.. when I put together the rig box for lunch and set out the salads and such for lunch.

Then it is more lounging till the guys come in and eat.. The kitchen crew eat with them and bug them.. Laugh..the usual.

Then after they leave, it's clean up and ...... My favourite time... POTATO PEELING!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooo.....yeah...No.

Once that is done, time for tv until 4:30pm... when I get stuff set out for lunch, do dishes and cut up my fruit trays for next morning. I am usually out of the kicthen by 8:30pm... I watch a bit of boobie tube, then head to bed... FUN!

You do not get much sleep out there.

Anyway, I have been off for a week, saw Rob Zombie in concert, and got sick a couple days later. And I am still sick... and to top it off, I got my guy sick too sad
It's pretty bad... a lot like strep throat... We're going to the doctors tomorrow if we don't sleep all day like we did today.

I don't remember if I wrote this before, but he did leave to go back to Nunavut, and while he was gone, he realized some things, and we both realized how much we love each other, so once he paid of his plane ticket, he came back. mrgreen

The ex-roomate is still being a jerk. He still has not picked up his stuff and he called me when I was out at camp at 3:00am to tell me that we owed him money, which we did and I have no problem with that. My problem is though, he was going about it by saying he is going to get a lawyer and he had to keep people from coming and beating us up. ******** I hate this guy!
Anyway, it was only $130 that we owed him, so after the concert we went to his work and paid him back, where it was mentioned... Get this... that supposedly we now owe him $800. Which is impossible... I want to find out where he is getting this from... It has to be another of his lies... There is now way that we would owe him anything other than what we paid him back for.

So, my protest is that I have Boycotted eating at Boston Pizza. I don't want my hard earned money going into his pocket. If you feel my case and don't much care for they're food, you can too... just steer clear of the Boston Pizza's on the Northeast side of Edmonton Alberta. Totally your choice. xp

Anyway.. Time to go!

I will try to keep you updated.. Oh, And I am probably heading out on wensday morning for another 2 weeks, so if I don't write by then, I will after.
