Maybe I'll be able to get back on track again with my writings. It's still a pain in the a** because I'm afraid to go on the computer when the sun is up like some deranged internet vampire. The job and school is going to suck even more because of my time frame, but at the same time I'm looking forward to it, so that if anyone complains I can rip them a new one and show them how hard I work as well, and all the stuff I'll have to go through.
See, the pros and cons of the Target job are that it's great because the locale isn't too far from the campus, which makes it hard to show up late, whereas if I took a job near the house, it would take anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and a half to get down to my neck of the woods, which would make attendance really risky.
Now the bad thing is, my schedule with most likely be from 2:00 in the afternoon until about 10:00 in the evening. They told me the only reason they won't keep me later is because I'm not 18 yet, and I have curfew. But, the location for this Target is Rampart and Charleston, which is like the end of the line on the 206 Charleston bus route going west, which is, as I like to always say, "the other side of the world" for me.
Here's where it gets tricky. The buses at that time stop arriving on a regular basis, and tend to lean more towards a 30 minutes to a every hour sort of deal. Which means, getting out of work, if I don't stop for a bite or anything, I'll be catching the buses around 11-ish. The long a** bus ride will give me time to either:
a) catch up on homework
or
b) take a nap, which I'll probably do more often than a.
However, regardless, I'll still be getting home at godawful times, anywhere from midnight to 1 in the morning, not to mention I'll probably still have schoolwork to catch up on or some sort of house duty. I'm hoping they'll be a bit more lenient with that for me.
So yeah, a social life if you don't count Anime Vegas or J-Team if I can even have those days off is out of the question. Top it off with the fact that I already as of this moment owe over $300 to pay for my share of this semester's college tuition, and that when I turn 18 I'll have to start paying rent to stay in the house, (my brother had to do $200/month, I'm guessing I'll be the same) I'm looking at a swell next couple of months. crying
