Hiya everybody! I'm finally in the mood to write again, mostly becasue I have nothing else to do. Yesterday I had so much fun. Well, what happened was that my dad and I went to see Monster House and we ran into my friend Caitlin and so we all went to the same movie and then her mom invited me to come with them to a musuem and i agreed. So her mom came and picked me up from my house yesterday and we drove to her house so that we could pick up Caitlin (her little brother Ricky was already in the car) then drove over to a neighbor's house. We were going with them to the museum and went on a train ride to get there and then we walked to the museum. When we got there we went to some of the exhibits on the top floor because we were planning on going to the exhibits from the top floor down (there were a total of three floors in all). So after we finished the third floor it was time for the IMAX movie Deep Sea to start. Caitlin and I were thinking, this is going to be a boring movie, it's a documentary! But then we saw the beginning credits start to come up and since there was nothing else to do and we read them. So then it said narrated by...JOHNNY DEPP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Caitlin and I went totally balistic because we are both big fans of Johnny Depp so that is what made that movie the best documentary ever, way better then March of the Panguins! That was probably the best part of the entire trip, hearing Johnny Depp's deep, masculine, soothing voice explain about the sunscar starfish or the tiger shark or how we've been overfishing and potentially damaging the ecosystems. It was great! Wow! Oh yeah, yesterday Caitlin called me and we started talking about Willy Wonka because I was on the official Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) thread. So that's when we decided that we were gonna bug her mom into renting it so that we coud watch it and we did and so when we got back to her house from the museum, we watched it. My favorite quote from there has got to be when Willy Wonka replies to Mike Teavee saying "Who wants a beard?" and he says, "Well, beatniks for one, folk singers and motorbike riders. Y'know. All those hip, jazzy, super cool, neat, keen, and groovy cats. It's in the fridge, daddy-o! Are you hip to the jive? Can you dig what I'm layin' down? I knew that you could. Slide me some skin, soul brother!" Isn't that hilarious? Johnny Depp really is one of the greatest actors in the world. All for now. Gotta go!
