I decided I'd kick this off with a poem I have written.
Unnamed Poem
I never thought this would happen...
You had said you never would.
But we found ourselves drawn to each other,
Just like a moth to a flame
Through all that’s happened,
Through everyone’s pushing.
We decided...
That we love each other.
That we were...
Together.
I can’t bear to be apart from you.
I wonder... if you feel the same.
Again, these thoughts,
they play through my mind...
I’m hoping...
I can be with you...
Forever...
Because I love you
Three Words
I thought I’d never say those words…
Those three words, they mean so much.
But then I met you… and that all changed…
I know you know how I feel…
I know you feel the same.
That day we sat up on the hill…
And to each other, said those words…
“I love you…”
As we sat upon the hill,
I had my arm around you.
We sat that way,
For quite a while…
And those three words hold true...
“I love you”
