Yep, that's right. Not because of any dramatic event that occured or anything, it's just... I never really joined to begin with. Sure, I made some posts, even made a (highly unsucessful, I'm returning the gold to those who purchased there) breedables shop. But any time I showed interest, I was kidding myself. I haven't found my niche yet, and I frankly don't think there is one for me here.

Most people quit sites because the censorship on said site became too much for them to bear.
Not me. I'm quitting because there isn't enough censorship here. I'm not saying they should start censoring, not at all. I'm simply saying that it's made me very uncomfortable around here.

You can't escape it here. No matter where you go, you're bombarded with some sort of referances to things of sexual nature. In things as simple as usernames, or signatures, there are nasty things. Even the term 'poll whore' involves it.

Even when I do get away from it, people just seem... colder here. I'm frequently ignored, and I don't like that. I don't care if that's just 'the way Gaia is,' infact if it really is that way i really don't want to be here.

No, I've always been much more comfortable on Neopets, where they 'over-censor' to some. But you know what? I LIKE being able to have conversations with vast groups of people, without ANY of it turning into something related to sex. I'm well-known there. I have a lot of friends there. I've got the Beauty Contest to keep me happily occupied, and Gaia takes away valuable advertising time. On Gaia I have no friends, other than those who I know in real life, so I have little to lose here.

Don't Neomail me/PM me asking for my Gaian items. I do suspect that I'll come back, and besides I'm rather fond of my current avatar. I'm keeping all of my stuff here for now, so I don't have to 'start over' later when things like Dark Halos and Gwees are 100,000gold, because then I'll quit again. I know I will.
