World Reflected Darkly: In the Predator's Domain
Okay so we picked up where we left of...sort of.
Kain and Alu awaken to a new evening it is (in game) Monday night. Kain awakens to find that while he "slept" Sarah had been busy.( I forgot to mention this during the RP session, but she'd actually cleaned his apartment and made absolutely sure it was sun-proof.) She'd also gone to her dorm room and brought the rest of her luggage(only a total of 3 medium sized suitcases) to his apartment. They talked about what the next steps to take should be and concluded that going after the Pain spirit was the best course of action.
Alucin awakens to find his sire Melisand watching over him and while she means it affectionately he gets a little disturbed. She then gives him a quick lecture about her territory, the size and scope of her feeding grounds and suggests he make good on these rescources and try to improve his hunting skills.
In the last session Kain actually came in and stole Alu's mark, leaving Alu w/ little choice of a meal aside from a hooker. While that displeased Melisand she was partially appeased by Alu's show of mercy and humanity when he left some money for the hooker when she woke up. He also showed restraint by not draining his prey. Kain showed some skill and style by actually talking his way into the mousy little secretary's apartment and feeding from her there while covering up to look like she just got lucky w/ a kind and handsome stranger named "John".
This gaming session Alu took the time to explore his sire's territory and discovered while half of it was in the crappy part of the warehouse district, the other half was actually a pretty good hunting ground. A handful of popular establishments in range and walking distance of his sire's haven, he decided to try hitting up the Black Swan strip club for a meal. Being owned by a fellow Kindred this turned out to be a tougher prospect than he planned on. Alu would only get some "company" after getting rid of a stalker ex-boyfriend of one of the dancers.
Back to Kain and Sarah. Both get as well armed and armored w/ what is available and prepare to go to the warehouse where Kain last saw the pain spirit. Kain is equiped w/ 2 handguns an sawed off shotgun and his black kabar. His armor consisting of a military level kevlar vest and a thick cloth trench coat and leather boots. Sarah has a composite bow and arrows aswell as her tanto. Sarah gets dressed in the level one kevlar vest, her leather trenchcoat and matching leather boots.- "What Love? It gets bloody cold and wet during an English winter." As they're headed to the warehouse Sarah warns Kain that just killing the host body will set the spirit free to come back and fight another day and that the spirit needs to be killed aswell. She says that as soon as they find it Kain just needs to weaken it enough and she'll handle the rest.
